this was our set up last year…(4x4 vehicle, Caravan, full awning and a 4 man tent… and then a ton of open social space- sitting out for breakfast) Now, this is probably the most room we have had in 10 years in CV East and it was probably because we were next to the fence in E19
but we have always had enough space for the awning and a tent…
per @clarketei would suggest getting your friends to take in ALL of your stuff as the walk from the bus station is the best part of an hour. Perhaps take them some fresh food supplies breakfast, milk, fruit etc…
camping in the CV fields is not for everybody.. if you are full on and plan on being out till 6am every night you may prefer it on site..
we usually finish up about 2am and appreciate the quiet overnight and the social space in the morning for breakfast before heading back at lunchtime.. (as well as the ability to cook breakfast and shower of course..)
Don't worry, it wasn't lost on me... I didn't miss the pun, and it was no accident either... 😂
(I did think you'd wrapped a serious suggestion up in that pun though, so went to check when they were last online... 🙈)
Like a tiki bar deep in some woodlands, down a winding path, with a central fire pit and lots of room. It was out the back of Lost Vagueness but a fair few times I’ve been out there to the greater reaches of the SE corner to try and place it a bit: nope, not a clue 😁 the name hangs around in the old memory banks though, Slippery d*ck’s love shack! I was a punter too, so I wasn’t meant to be there, I’m completely lost as to how we got in there
