It's a tricky one.

Cos on paper I would largely agree that they would draw a ginormocrowd.

But then I look at the individual crowds that Wellend 1 and Wellend 2 got when they played individually which were nothing extraordinary and wonder whether the pair of them combined offers anything significantly different or more attractive. And I'm not sure it does.

I think it does, people have been clamouring for an Oasis reunion since they broke up. Whilst ostensibly there’s little different between Liam/Noel shows and Oasis ones, to many, many people it would be huge.

They’d get a big crowd without doubt, but the only way they do Reg numbers is if Glasto is the very first reunion show.

Of course people clamouring for their return are either too young to remember or have simply forgotten that Oasis (especially in their later years) were absolutely awful live.

Wouldn’t get too many rocking up to see Mel C or Geri on their own either to be fair. All about the collective.

The thing Reg also had in his favour though was what A. He was the most relevant he’d ever been and B. It was (supposed to be) his last gig.

I’m not sure any headliner could ever get near Elton, too much choice elsewhere to draw focus.

Its why I think a mega act on during the day would get closer.

Yeah reading that back, I wasn’t clear.

An Oasis reform is the only thing left that could even have a chance of getting close. They’d probably do Macca levels. 

Spice Girls is the only act with a real chance of matching Reg. 

Although it all gets hard to judge past a certain point. 

Reg is the biggest crowd I’ve been in for sure. 

Kylie probably second.

banned i think? i asked about doing it once and was told they wouldn't permit it.

flying remote controlled things over crowds is a bad idea cos no one can be sure they'll stay in the air! (i've got a remote control helicopter [that i know gets used by some folk for filming stuff] that could take someone's head off)
