Can't rule out Kahan repeating, but it would be unusual.

That’s the obvious one, repeat or not. There’s nowt to say you can’t repeat guest appearances.

Ah, more in the sense that they did Stick Season, which I would fully expect Kahan to have already played in his own set. A bit of a cop-out, perhaps.

I'm still expecting Sam Fender to pop up with him for Homesick, to be fair.

Wonder if it could be another lineage pick, a la Lily Allen or Avril Lavigne. Somebody Rodrigo wants to namecheck.

I cannot picture Chappell Roan for the simple fact that it could become the headline with her currency. There's a risk it potentially upstages the rest of the night. (A similar argument to be made for why Charli XCX might not cameo with The 1975.)

Costello has topped a few times, hasn't it.

I do wonder if Rodrigo will repeat in a decade or so. Not too many out-and-out overseas acts come back for a second bite of the cherry at the summit. Young is one this year, The Killers half a decade ago too, but struggling to think who was the last one before that. Repeats tends to be homegrown; Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys, Paul McCartney, The Cure, Radiohead, Muse, etc, etc, etc.

Not sure. Would fit the bill, and also be a hit with the crowd, perhaps.

The Lily Allen cameo was so successful because of homegrown fervour though. Might be worth mulling who else could be among Rodrigo's British heroes.

I came up with Gwen as saw a new set list rumoured and it had a don't speak cover , also her fan girl moment at Coachella

REM are the only others that come to mind.

What we really need is No Doubt

Not happening like at all. Word is that despite there being an idea to have done more shows and such, especially with Tragic Kingdom turning 30 this year, the person that put a halt on those plans was Gwen herself. She had reservations about it for some reason. And now she is just happy being a Maga loving right wing nut supporter and religious app pusher. Seriously. She even released a solo album and hasnt done anything about it. They had such a great chance to do something and they let it pass them by. I guess $10 million was enough.

FYI, Lollapalooza Chile is this weekend and Olivia is scheduled for 90 minutes. So thats probably what she will get come Sunday night at Glasto.

Ah yeah I’m with you now. Agree on Fender with Kahan too. Suspect I’ll be watching, I only got into Kahan recently and really like him.

Getting Imbruglia on to do Torn again might appeal. Give her a real moment and push all the 90s angst-pop buttons for my generation that will have been hammered by Alanis on the Friday 😆

I saw that about Stefani, quite upsetting. Even if she was available that surely rules her out of any Rodrigo guest slot. Be a heck of a leap to her from 2022’s ‘f**k the Supreme Court’s attack on Abortion rights’ moment

I like that. Big crossover hit everybody knows, absolutely no chance of artist upstaging the main act.

She’s active and touring too. Personally I’d rather hear Wrong Impression but Torn was massive.

...but you find sad white boy guitar boring and you find arguably the blandest artist of the last 10 years good? I'm confused. The only way a Sam Fender cameo would get me there would be if he came on and said "Scream if you want me to play instead"! 😄

It’s pretty rare for me to get into sad white boy guitar music these days. Only the best will do 😂

No one is mentioning she hugged it out with Sabrina at the grammys , does Olivia fancy breaking the internet and and dueting with her

She has to be in the country first. And itll be hard to break it cause nobody will be able to watch it.
