Obviously David or Chappell would be the dream guests (even if Chappell has shows on the Friday and Saturday) but I wonder if Noah Kahan would show up in some capacity especially after O-Rod covered Stick Season a while ago.

I don't think she actually does have shows that weekend? I think it's a mistake on google and her shows start in august

Oh well I mean if that's the case then Chappell would be an excellent guest!

I think it is an impersonator performance that google got confused with. We caught on to that when we wondered if Chappell was patchwork.

She had him guest at her show last year. so being right before would make the chance high. And St Vincent is able to show up for her set now with the scheduling. and he covered Lacy.

bringing out noah kahan to do lacy seems like such a waste of a song / guest. when theres better ones to choose from. hope that doesnt happen

Agreed. Let's f**king hope not - at least not when David Byrne or Chappell are on the shortlist.

I just don't get why Chappell Roan would be there, among all the hopedictions. Haven't her guests sometimes had a local theme? I'd assume a British artist is more likely than anything.

Dua Lipa got the lad from The Zutons out in Liverpool last night. Might as well get him on call.

Most likely gonna be Lily Allen again I bet

Or it could be someone already playing that day like St. Vinny

Enjoy it people but we aware she brings in a very young crowd. I was easily in the latter age bracket there, anyone around the same point was a parent. A lot of under 15 year old, a lot of kids on shoulders as they are still young enough to be. Many parents didn't know who she actually was, they were just taking their kids there where I was.

A massive almost sit-down picnic wait. I don't think I'd return to BST without a golden circle option but they had a very good supply of getting water and getting in and out was a breeze. The sound has certainly improved since last time I've been. Unless you're taller though, its very much over the person's shoulder etc....I don't even know if that would have been much different in golden circle depending on how far back you were. Bearing in mind I'm short and a 14 year old is my height.

Yeah I found the amount of people sitting a bit frustrating, especially during other performances, i get it between artists but not during them

I thought Olivia was brilliant though and put on a fantastic show

She was for the most part yes. I'm not sure it's a crowd I would want to be in again though, certainly not without seating in an arena purely because of the crowd and how young it is. If the option came again I would definitely take the arena option but this time working and not being able to lose two days money for it plus availability of a decent seat wise it wasn't possible. I guess the Manchester dates afterall are tickets already sold and rescheduled. There may well be big picnic vibes on Sunday I think for that until she comes on. It reminded me of a Bryan Adams gig years ago where that was everywhere you looked and it probably should have been picnic in the park lol.

I actually thought Girl in Red was really good and much better live than on record. TLDP was alright but too many people just chatting not being bothered by it. My view for girl in red was better as I could see lol and less packed but the more the day went on and the crowd poured in, it's very unlikely to keep that spot with going toilet etc anyway.
