Still expecting a whopper crowd for her.

Ah it'll be a huge crowd it'll just be kinda a lot of what it's made up of. My friend who's working has said there is a lot of younger people there this year. I don't think I've attended a festival day with as many younger female fans or parents taking their kids not old enough by themselves before. I didn't attend Taylor Swift but it likely would have been quite similar though I think she has broader appeal. I was sat next to two mum's with their kids yet and they didn't know who Olivia but and said they were there for their daughter...they were 9 and 13. It kinda made me question a bit why I would be 38 in the middle of that field.

She was for the most part yes. I'm not sure it's a crowd I would want to be in again though, certainly not without seating in an arena purely because of the crowd and how young it is. If the option came again I would definitely take the arena option but this time working and not being able to lose two days money for it plus availability of a decent seat wise it wasn't possible. I guess the Manchester dates afterall are tickets already sold and rescheduled. There may well be big picnic vibes on Sunday I think for that until she comes on. It reminded me of a Bryan Adams gig years ago where that was everywhere you looked and it probably should have been picnic in the park lol.

I actually thought Girl in Red was really good and much better live than on record. TLDP was alright but too many people just chatting not being bothered by it. My view for girl in red was better as I could see lol and less packed but the more the day went on and the crowd poured in, it's very unlikely to keep that spot with going toilet etc anyway.

Yeah I was decently situated for girl in red, moved and had an okay view but from the side for TLDP

The later it gets it just becomes heaving though, been years since I went to a show at Hyde Park and it just feels too busy to be that enjoyable

I have got Noah Kahan next week but i'm more excited for the undercard having seen him last year so I may just chill out towards the back by the time he is on

I felt the same. To be honest I've gigged that long now and just got to the point where I actually want to see the act properly I'm watching for the cost of it these days which i feel is fair enough.

Yeah I think I would have been disappointed if I didn't love the undercard, I am a huge TLDP fan as well as a girl in red fan

If I had gone just to see Olivia then the experience would maybe have left me a little let down

As we were unable to get tickets for Glastonbury this year we went along to Hyde Park. We had the Diamond tickets that allowed you access to a side of stage garden area with food and bars, and standing area next to the stage. It was as great experience and not crazy packed unless you wanted to be right at the front.

We had a wander in the general admission area and it was very busy. There seemed to be queues for everything and I would have been disappointed by how far back from the stage you had to stand.

We were very happy to get back to our area and be able to eat, drink, have a sit down in the shade and wander in and out of the stage area.

Really recommend it if you can splash out.

Thought the whole thing was brilliant…Girl in Red stood out, LDP was decent, Orod was fantastic and she will be incredible at Glastonbury. It was the loudest and most engaged audience I’ve ever experienced. A brilliant night.

I was thinking of paying the extra for golden circle, I think in future years it is probably worth the extra cost to go VIP

My other half went to BST with our 11 year old daughter and has said the same about the venue. Massive queues for water, people having massive blankets and not being able to see the stage due to the daft location of the Vip bar.

It's a hell of a lot of money to watch a big screen

Don't blame you. I think Glastonbury matters less as long as you see her a few times as you've paid for the whole festival itself and not purely for that artist.

Agreed. I wouldn't pay it unless cheaper but agreed. I wouldn't say my ticket was worth the cost of it and I would do differently given the chance or simply not go.

It was 100% worth it for us and I would not do BST without that option after seeing how busy it was.

This comment summed it up. I guess it's a case of golden circle or sky diamond costs a packet but either pay ir or don't attend unless you're tall or you don't want to see much. You're not going to get in front of the people on the barriers that have been camped out since the start. I'll also say, while my view for girl in red was okay, I wouldn't have wanted to be that side on for o-rod hence moving but doing that made it worse.

I took my daughter to see Dua Lipa at Anfield on Tuesday, couldn't have wished for a better concert experience tbh. She did enjoy O-Rod but sounds like it could have been so much better than it was.

Where were you sat?

Got lucky with resale tickets in the end and had seats in block 105, row 25, so just behind where the goal would be. Not bad for 30 quid each lol

Can't complain at that. I could have had LP right at the back but central for £85/95, held off and got virtually inline with the end of the walk way ramp extension they have. Good old resale.
