In the pre smartphone era my brother and a friend were more or less simultaneously left heartbroken by two Norwegian women - so after several bevvies they conducted a ceremonial burning of the Norwegian flag. The photos would be handy today for my feelings on yr.no

Same time as now - signals started Sat, runs converged Sun IIRC. But there was plenty of thunderstorm fear Mon-Wed.

We arrived Thursday midday, all weather reports were wall to wall sunshine.

Left my wellies in the car, first time I've ever been confident enough to do so.
