The negativity towards Hozier seems weird. I remember seeing him play John Peel in 2014, he had a cracking voice and seemed like a really nice guy.

Agree that it seems strange if he is a TBA rather than just announcing him, but its really not hard to understand why he has a large appeal. Even if you ignore everything else, the subject matter of Take Me To Church was (and still is) powerful enough to get people on board.

Is the general consensus that Temple TBA on Sat night is Fred again.. B2B with Four Tet?

Not a massive Fred again.. fan, but that would be wild if true!  If incredibly busy after Fat Boy Slim on Park!

Anyone who goes to Fatboy won't get into Temple for that midnight TBA.

Yeah I agree, his debut album has some excellent songs on - Cherry Wine wouldn't be written by any other of the 'bland' artists he's been thrown about with.

I sense it's part and parcel of eFests bizarrely cynical mindset.

May have been mentioned already but I reck the Saturday night TBA on Greenpeace is Seth Troxler given hes on the Greenpeace poster but not on the set times. Hes a pretty big name for the rave tree is my thinking!

Troxler is now on the official glasto lineup page for the green peace TBA Saturday 1015pm

Ezra was far bigger than his slot though. Probably would've subbed / 3rd down Pyramid?

That TBA is the right slot for Hozier if announced, same as Pretenders.

Was thinking more in terms of him having loads of tickets to sell a week before the festival. Fair to say I'm not a fan of either!

Yeah, I'm not sure I get it either. He seems almost a like for like to Ezra as a TBA. I don't know much about tours and if he's doing arenas or whatever, but he's got 26 million monthly listeners on Spotify compared to Ezra's 18m. I know it's not an exact science, but still, it's impressive numbers.

Not that I'll be there myself, mind you.

FBS is playing a few times and is likely to play every Glasto until he's too old to. Yusuf if you've got no other way of seeing him and he's a must see?

Yusuf is in the “would love list” the same as Fatboy. However how often has he done a daytime set. I know the logic and agree on paper Yusuf should win hands down…but we missed him last year.

All this talk of underwhelming TBA's, don't forget one of them was George Ezra last year so Hozier fits in with that blandness also.

Pretty sure Elbow were one a few years back to add to the recurring theme of bland TBAs

Is there any info on who the 2 TBA slots on BBC Introducing could be?

There’s also a TBA slot on the Truth Stage at 1:30am Saturday night. Thinking this is probably likely to be an additional slot from someone who’s playing a on the main bill Saturday or Sunday?

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
