Hi everyone! I think it's about time I introduced myself. I'm Iggy Makarov, new owner of eFestivals.

I've been hiding under the guise of Kalifire since 2013, waiting for the right time to come out 💃

Now, here I am inviting you to Iggy's meet up! It's going to take place at the Ridge & Furrow bar, from 6pm on Glasto Wednesday, 21st June!!

Be there or be square. Everyone is welcome; cucks, kippers, one and all.

Hope to see you down at the Cabaret field. Bring your flags!

All jokes aside, will you ever reveal your "true" (i.e. Efestivals) identity? I'm assuming you must have been a previous poster..?

Haha! Sadly there's no huge mystery. I've had an account for 7-8 years but never posted anything so not particularly interesting history. Might use it in the future for personal posts here.

i've already tried to help her, only thing left to do is take a leap of faith that its really her account a method which could end up giving  her access to someone else's account. i've steered away from doing that for the obvious reason of taking account security seriously.

If I was you I'd have a new official account to the run site from and a more personal one to spout nonsense.

Would be good to maybe have a suggestions/ideas thread from members once you've settled in, I'm sure a bit of freshening up could be helpful.

No worries Neil. That's pretty much what I thought the situation was. Doesn't sound like much else can be done in this case, sadly.

I'll probably stick to this account for official eFestivals business and use the other one for actual festivalling discussion if I ever get around to it. I'd welcome any suggestions you may have. A dedicated thread might be a good idea at some point, definitely.

      Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
