Why’s that?

When I said that, there was nothing sign between them and Everything is New. Something must have changed. Like an ex-president of a Portuguese football team said in the past: "what today is true, tomorrow is a lie".

When is the full line up usually announced for NOS? Torn between NOS and Mad Cool in 2023

Same here. I have been to Mad Cool in 2018 and Arctic Monkeys and IDLES are good differentials for me to choose Nos Alive over Mad Cool this time. 4 years ago around the end of January, both lineups were close to final. I think next month we will have a better view.

Excellent. The lineup is starting to build nicely now. Suspect we have all the headliners and sub-headliners now.

6 de julho

  • Red Hot Chili Peppers
  • The Black Keys

7 de julho

  • Lizzo
  • Arctic Monkeys
  • Idles

8 de julho

  • Sam Smith
  • QOTSA

The Black Keys as a subheadliner? QOTSA as a headliner?

I guess NOS Alive is a lot smaller than Mad Cool but still...

I’m really excited to see Idles and Lizzo, but if that’s the full line up for the Nos Stage I guess I’ll be spending most of the time in the Heiney Tent!

We’re still waiting for a big name to close Saturday, surely?!

There's probably 5 bands a day on the main stage, so a couple more before Idles I'd say.

Don't want to be pessimistic, but we were surely waiting for something like that in 2019 only to end up with Primal Scream - GvF - Vampire Weekend. Solid, but too small, and it showed.

Not necessarly. It is true that in Portugal is not common to share names, but, for example Off! is also playing SonicBlast in August. But with Alive maybe will not happen (perhaps one of the electronic names can show up).

    • Latest from the sun at least is that harry is still headlining but Olivia has turned down a spot next year to work on new music and hope for 2028.   So they can't have Fender, Fontaines, Harry, Olivia and Madonna.
    • I mean I don't think EC and FFDP are borderline sub, they wouldn't be any lower now.   2025 is about as strong as Bloodstock gets yet this year only one headline would sub and the others would play 3rd down or lower.    Machine Head wouldn't sub at Download regardless of rarity, they don't sell enough tickets and I'm not sure Gojira would sub either. Their last UK tour was a mix of smaller arenas and academy dates. Ally Pally being the only London date, not even Wembley Arena.
    • live music / main stage will generally end around 11pm but theres dj’s and late goings on right till 4am if you are so inclined.   Drinks are about £7.50 a pint probably and yes theres lots of mixed drinks / spirits / cocktails available to buy   wonderful festival, back for my third year in a row and 4th overall
    • If anyone sees Lakefest this weekend on any sites please post here, I’ve got alerts set. Been on TFG in recent years and not sold out yet.
