But thats in the same venue?

for me this looks like a no go

And 3/4 nights in a row at Wemley is still possible here with the gap?

the only grain of hope is that theres a reason they split the 4 wembley dates. But for now, her willingness to play at least 3 dates in a row leaves it possible until its not.

def gonna have to be a different show and production since theyll have zero time to pack anything up from Wembley to move to Glasto.

although Coachella sure looks possible 👀

She will add a Dublin date on the Sunday I expect

Actually I can see her adding an extra London date ( maybe 2) and an extra Dublin date.

I'd say zero chance of that.

Did 2 nights in an 80k stadium here last time and they literally couldn't give tickets away. The second night was tens of thousands of people on freebies. Sports clubs being given bundles etc.

This time around it's 2 nights in a 55k stadium, so that'll be it.

Apples and oranges. Her career had gone back to the top of the stratosphere since then.

Have you seen the level of venues she's been selling the past six months? Her current career level is nothing like it was on the last tour. The entire thing is going to be a bloodbath and they'll inevitably add a slew of extra dates.

Is Glastonbury 2024 the weekend of June 22nd or June 29th?

I was thinking 22nd potentially. Summer solstice is Thurs 20th in 2024 and GF is traditionally around the solstice though also traditionally the last weekend of June

    • Hmm, weird- Rush are playing the Co-Op live on the 12th and the 14th, and Megadeth are the meat in that sandwich - so they have to roll everything in, roll it out again, only to roll it back in and then out - here's hoping for a prog hokey-cokey with all manner of bizarre time signatures and drum solos!
    • Depends what you mean by seeing 'more stuff' about it.    I definitely don't trust the original Sun article.

    • Chill. There is no chance Sziget will be cancelled by the government. Even the prime minister held a press conference today, where he confirmed this.   Magyar said they do not want to shut down the country or prevent events from taking place. He gave the example that vetoing an event would be like completely cutting off a large consumer’s electricity supply for the organizers. However, just as they have not taken such a measure against large consumers, they have not taken steps to cancel events either. (Magyar did not name a specific event, but he was presumably referring specifically to the Sziget Festival.) At the same time, Péter Magyar stressed that if disruptions occur in the system or the heatwave persists, it could become necessary to postpone or reschedule events (example: some Hungarian football games will probably be held in daylight, moved to a few hours earlier, to save energy), although he believes there is currently little chance of that happening. This is particularly true for events that rely entirely, or largely, on their own energy sources.
