I admit that I'm expecting 2 Rock acts for the last headline spots.

BUT ... I would gladly have Sam Smith instead of .. I don't now.... FLORENCE !!!! Do you guys hate him that much lol ?

I'm on "Thank god" side. He was okay and his music maybe isn't that bad, but as a public figure he is right now... I'm there for music not some agenda.

And there are a hundreds of better performers, who are proven to be amazing live.

Look, I’m not into these they/them shenanigans, and I am absolutely horrified when I look at Sam now vs 4 years ago (wtf happened to him…) BUT… I watched a recent live show of his and I saw no mention of this at all… and he just… sang. I like his singing, so what he does in the media does no affect my enjoyment of the show. I mean it’s not like he broke the law or molested kids… he just has a kooky self image.

Bjork's European Tour starting September 1st with no dates in Belgium, Netherlands, UK and Hungary.
Will she add some festivals?

Very doubtful.

Even though I've been a massive bjork fan for over 30 years, a festival she isn't at her best.

Hello,
my question is off topic but I don't know where to ask it: I was supposed to go to Sziget with a friend but he can't come anymore. I'm left with an extra place.
Moreover I would like to sleep in the igloo but it is for two people.
Would anyone who hasn't bought a place yet be interested in joining me?

Fall Out Boy just announced a huge US Tour with BMTH (damn!) and it finished in the New Jersey on August 6th. A bit tight for some festivals after that like Sziget... or not?

prolly rulled out then..very unlikely to start an Europe tour right after the US one

Pukkelpop and Lowlands both meant to be announcing around lunchtime I believe (both start a couple of days after Sziget finishes and they tend to share acts - worth keeping an eye out later).

Didn’t Pukklepop posted yesterday that the announcement is comming 2 days later (meaning tomorrow)?

Ah, possibly. Must've missed that if they did. Lowlands have just announced, with quite a bit of duplication of what has already been announced for Sziget.

Would be very happy with Bicep, Bombay BC, Turnstile, King Gizzard, Dry Cleaning and, of course, Underworld.

EDIT: Also Girl In Red!

Placebo? 😕 Worrying, I was really hoping to see them.

Would be tight for Placebo, can only see them playing on the 14th. Don't see them subbing Eilish on the 15th. They are in Germany on the 10th, France 12th.

Subs can be totally unrelated to the main act, I've seen Billy Talent support Pink, or Sum41 subbing Snoop Dog back in the day, etc. Placebo is not that far from Billie Eilish.

Agree. Last year, we had Limp Bizkit - Tame Impala - Charlotte de Witte (before LB cancelled).

    • Ghost did it on their last tour  and there was a whole article of people complaining about it at the Manchester gig cause somehow they werent informed and didnt know why there was a massive queue to enter the venue. At MSG everyone was given a souvenir ticket which had their seat info written on it so you knew where go to. Itll be fine.   added dates due to sign ups for presale.
    • If anyone happens to have a Sunday ticket (or two) to sell then I would be interested in buying for face value. Thanks!
    • NIN and Bjork for sure 😉
    • When are  the stage splits ??
    • 13th Primavera (Thursday was definitely making me feel like this was the cursed year).  Blood Orange was such a party by the end of their set but we all knew that rain storm was approaching.  So gutted Massive Attack didn't play after the false hope of a new rescheduling, especially knowing that Elizabeth Fraser & Horace Andy were backstage with them!  Managed a bit of Melt Banana but was just so over the weather by that point.   Friday was awesome, Rilo Kiley were so much fun.  Never been the biggest Cure fan but made the effort for them after Thursday & Robert Smith sounds like he did back in the 80s.  PinkPantheress & Viagra Boys were also great.   The highlight for me was Sudan Archives on the Saturday, she was stunning & with the Olivia Rodrigo surprise set too it made up for the Thursday sh*t show.  Dijon & Knocked Loose also superb.   Shoutout to Cardiacs on the Tuesday too, they were so LOUD, played a storming set.
