mikebat
Do you think a band like Carpenter Brut can be on the line up ? too small ?

Archi
Carpentur Brut are already at Graspop 2 weeks before so not sure they'd to Werchter too. Hope we'll have some acts like MGK, Nova Twins, Gayle, Simple Plan, Nothing More...
Gossard
Bands that I'm hoping for and are touring ... Depeche Mode (not likely, I know!) Volbeat (playing Gothenburg in June) Tenaciouos D (playing their own show in Belgium and tickets still available, so very unlikely) Placebo Steel Panther (new album and played GMM this year) The Hives Blur Liam Gallagher Puscifer The Prodigy (any good without Keith?) Wolfmother Evanescence NOFX Jinjer (GMM bound?) Witch ever hard rock/metal band that's out there and available and doesn't suck 😆🤘

It sounded like he was saying the package of names is going to contain a lot of expected names, repeat bookings. But followed it up with "it will be ok, there will be something for everyone". Curious!

Kendrick Lamar was easily the bet indoor show Ive seen this year though. It would be aazing for RW to be able to present this. I would honestly rather have Editors and RHCP

lighthouse
NxWorries, that side project bij Anderson Paak, is announced for Northside. Considering how excellent Paak was at RW, get them in please!

Nicklord
When people say progression and then they say they want Depeche Mode or Blur - both are way more nostalgia based than RHCP or Editors. Especially Blur, they're literally touring only on nostalgia. And that doesn't mean I wouldn't enjoy both of them. Actually after the tour of Depeche Mode got announced I got Prague tickets as I figured they won't play Werchter

Rhcp have played twice since then

Floyd_Ams
The Website has been updated showing daily schedule. Normally the announcement would be at 4pm (CET) but I'm wondering if it will be even earlier...
49Lawson
At my peril, I’m more optimistic now. The only time I think I’ve ever known Werchter to tease/hype an announcement was The Strokes in 2020 and Radiohead in 2016 (for 2017) Suggests we might get something big…

Floyd_Ams
The Who announced their first European dates today: https://www.thewho.com/the-who-announce-first-european-dates-in-seven-years/ I know it's impossible to see them at RW this year, especially with a full orchestra, but how nice would that be? Maybe with Eddie Vedder as a co-head? I'll try to catch their show somewhere for sure!

Archi
I guess we'll have some strong names in this package. I mean band to play before the 2 main on Main Stage or Barn headliners. Answer in 15 minutes or 1h15.
Aech2ElectricBoogaloo
Sticky Fingers, Liam Gallagher, Foals and Lizzo are my biggest hopes.
