Somebody on Reddit who seems quite sure of themselves. Hardly nailed on, but what with Lana on the cusp of announcing more summer dates not hard to imagine it’s true.

@Ken19 said rosklide were in negotiations to get her.

there are also a few EU festivals missing a headliner and a member of Lana’s touring team posted on Instagram saying a tour is coming soon.

Cool, I didn’t know about the Reddit source. Lana and Pulp are top 2 on my wishlist so I don’t like the idea that their dates depend on each other!

I guess it’s hard to see where Pulp would play given all the Pyramid sub and Other headline rumours. But I’m also struggling to imagine them not playing, or doing a secret set again. Ah well, hopefully not long until we find out!

If the Lana info is true I’m certainly leaning towards Pulp not playing, which would be a crying shame. 

Unless Glasto can convince them to play 3rd down?!

Just a random comment saying ‘I’ve heard Lana is doing it’ in one of the ‘who are you hoping for’ threads in the glastonbury_festival sub, which somebody from the Discord followed up and seems like it’s legit, although still a chance it could be complete b/s - we’ll just have to wait for the poster to know for sure.

Whilst Lana is at sub level and was booked for it in 2020 it's still a bit of a square peg in a round hole booking given she doesn't really dispense feel good party bangers.

Lil Nas X instead of Pulp would upset me immensely. Maybe he could drop to third. I’m gonna see Pulp at Trnsmt anyway but then not doing the Big G would be a disappointment.

Lana makes the top of the card look a lot less blokey as well. An excellent booking in terms of getting a relatively exclusive sub, albeit one who isn't my cup of tea. Her dreariness will no doubt be cancelled out by Lizzo and Lil Nas X.

That reddit poster has not posted any info like this before, as far as we can tell. No one on the discord recognises them, maybe someone here does?

Lana has still not announced any gigs in Europe yet for this Summer

I'm a fan of Lana and would like to see her but if you are also a fan don't let Matt get your hopes up too much

I can assure you it wasn’t Matt speaking to the person or getting peoples hopes up.  Lana of course isn’t a guarantee but there are now multiple things indicating she could be there.

It's fair to say Lana is more likely than say Frank Sinatra or Beethoven but there are more things to indicate Pulp will be there.

All I am saying is let's not get too excited as we are probably setting ourselves up for disappointment

Them playing a lot of UK dates around Glasto is a decent start

I don't know why nobody's predicting Pulp as an Other headliner, makes more sense to me than a sub.

Because we’ve seemingly got our three Other headliners wrapped up already (Wizkid, Sam Smith, QOTSA). Wouldn’t at all surprise me if the former two of those are wrong tbh, but that’s what the info we have is saying. And I don’t see Pulp as a Other headliner at all myself, even if that would be incredible.
