This is so beautiful that it would never be real - despite being pretty realistic!

i like your prediction overall! Tenacious D 4th down on the other and pixies secret set aside as completely unrealistic 😂

I don't think gerry is about, also Wizkid is doing a stadium in London and is a fair bit bigger than Burna Boy who is the obvious 2022 comparison. Not sure he'd take sub

Ive come to accept thar grace jones is never doing west holts. It makes most sense out of any potential booking out there, but if it was going to happen it would have happened by now. She is interested in £

Would love to know the ballpark fee for a West Holts headliner - she's headlining one of the Camp Bestivals this year, in the company of Primal Scream, Groove Armada, Rudimental, The Human League, Confidence Man, Craig David, The Kooks and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, most of whom are entirely within a West Holts third down budget, never mind headliner.

"Craig David presents TSS" is immediately below her on the poster she's on - he played that same set on a boat in Sydney Harbour to about 1000 people at 30 quid a head couple of weeks ago.

re craig david that might be regional differences - he headlines a lot of smaller fests in the uk and would definitely do bigger than 1k in london. not huge by any means though.

He’s a funny one, just plays everywhere. packed out the O2 in London twice, sold out AO arena in Manchester, but has also recently played that Sydney boat thing, a LIV Golf event and the Capital FM Jingle Ball.

Figure he’s not expensive.

Where do I sign? Switch YYY with KG+TLW and it would be perfect! (Going for The Park on Fri and The Pyramid on Sat and Sun)

Sydney is a completely different market to the UK, hes just not that big abroad think like Courteeners or someone.

Dua Lipa did the jingle bell ball, they do get some larger names.

I doubt hes super expensive just mean that the sydney boat party is a poor comparison ^^

Appreciate that! Originally had Tenacious D 4th down on the Pyramid but moved it down and didn't want to get rid of them. Maybe I'm dreaming on a Pixies secret set

My current thinking for Header, Sub and OS is:

Arctic Monkeys, Royal Blood

Sam Smith

Dua Lipa, Pulp

The Prodigy

Elton John, Lizzo

QOTSA

Is there info on Sam Smith being around again?

The rest (bar Elton) I can see, not getting my hopes up about Reg.

My current guesses………

AM, Aitch
GNR, Lana
Dua Lipa, Pulp

Prodigy
Lizzo
QOTSA

Aitch is a bit out there, but I think there’ll be a UK rapper in a prominent slot, so he’s my loose guess.

Tbh AJ Tracey was the highest billed UK rapper in 2022… doesn’t necessarily mean so.

But Aitch won’t sub.  No way.

I expect Doja where Aitch is.

As I said loose guess based on very little, apart from the fact I think the festival will have a UK rapper somewhere decent.

I’d also forgotten about Doja, but yeah she’s better suited.

Maybe Aitch can sub The Other instead.

Starting to think Fred Again might be too big for WH. Unless his hype dies down, it's hard to see him doing that stage unless the counter programming was really big.

Really don’t see him getting too big for WH. Sure he has a lot of hype behind him right now, but vs. two other huge headliners on the Pyramid and Other, + the other stages, a lot of people will be elsewhere. Think he’d pack the field out, but not to unsafe levels or anything.

    • It was great, but I don't know why they continue to play Wide Lovely Eyes and Rings of Saturn, which are the weakest of the tracks off both PTSA and ST. Well, I do. It's cos they're about Suzie, so he can sing what he wants. They're the low points of the set. The rest is ace.
    • I didn't this time, but I've seen them before and just because you saw both that night doesn’t mean you can compare them. The Stones were great, but.you didn't think so and you went somewhere else looking for a good time and you found it. For whatever reason you didn't like it, but you were an outlier and all the reviews said they were great.
    • Annie Lennox could be the one to unite the whole forum, nobody has a bad word to say about her, even noted curmudgeon Skip 😄 I'd probably even amble along for a bit meself, and i'm also a miserable sod
    • If the below link works - thats interesting.   While I don't particularly put much stock in that account as a source (never seen it before though, tbf), and I can pick a hole or two (see below) in what he says - the timing of it is a week before I had the Fontaines '27 stadium info (same stadium he says on there, Tottenham). The info, or part of it, matches up.   Holes I'd pick: I'd have to watch again but I THINK he says 'end of year' for Tottenham - not possible, for a number of reasons, though he's probably just got his words mixed up there. It's Summer '27, or that's what I've been told. He also says Glastonbury is/would be based on how the album does. That doesn't stack up to me, unless it was a 2028 thing. I suppose that could stack up, i.e a verbal agreement for 2028, but still seems a bit of an odd approach. I would personally still expect it to be 2027 alongside the stadium gigs, IF they are gonna do it, though I've still not got a Scooby when the album is gonna drop, only that the tour is due for Spring (or early) next year.   Interesting, nonetheless.   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOB3Q9qkwW/
    • I was hoping that they would just do a tour like they were set to in 2020, rather than having Download as their UK appearance. If they are at DL, I would be surprised to see them headline. I think they sub under Deftones or SOAD
