A very strong set that

I think Doja could easily play under AM, Lizzo be Other head and Nick Cave be Sunday sub. I've not heard anything else about Paramore doing Reading. If that's likely then that would be my change. I know Reading Rumor mill suggested they were.

Cant see AM and Prodigy clashing. Prodigy Saturday other I reckon.

No chance will they clash The Prodigy with GNR. There shouldn't really be much crossover with The Prodigy and Arctics, especially now.

Friday

Pyramid: Arctic Monkeys / Pulp / Royal Blood
Other: Fred again..

Saturday

Pyramid: Madonna / Sam Smith / Franz Ferdinand
Other: QOTSA

Sunday

Pyramid: Elton John / Lizzo / Run The Jewels / Legend: Bon Jovi
Other: Prodigy

I'd take that. Bon Jovi, RTJ and The Prodigy. I love the Friday but Fred Again I reckon WHs not Other.

Not sure Franz is playing that high. RTJ a bit high too?

Logic is Franz are currently on an acclaimed greatest hits tour, and they will want a rap act somewhere high up (and their stock has risen since their last appearance in 2017).

Franz  a JP headliner or OS opener I reckon

So, on the Pyramid:

Fri: Arctic Monkeys/Pulp

Sat: GNR/QOTSA

Sun: Elton/Lizzo

For what I like, if The Prodigy are Other Friday then The Prodigy, Pulp, GNR and Elton is big for me.

I still think Elton doesn't have the voice anymore. I don't believe he was first choice.

I’d be happy but I don’t think Paramore will be there.

I reckon they might shake it up a bit like this.

Friday

Pyramid: Arctic Monkeys // Lizzo

Other Stage: Sam Smith

Saturday

Pyramid: Guns N’ Roses // Doja Cat

Other Stage: Fred Again

Sunday

Pyramid: Elton John // Queens of the Stone Age

Other Stage: The Prodigy

Yeah Franz are more likely 3rd Other, not Pyramid. What greatest hits tour?

I'm hoping that The Prodigy (if booked) are up against Arctic Monkeys.

I definitely think Elton was up there with Taylor as first picks for 2023. I prefer to view his voice situation much like other similar artists. It's about the live experience, sharing that moment with 100,000 others, belting out those classic songs. You'll hardly notice a missed note when you've got your arm around a stranger from Droitwich dressed in a sequin Dodgers kit, screaming out the the chorus of Crocodile Rock

Reckon this could be quite close to reality, but would maybe bring Pulp in, and have the more obvious runs of -

I think it's a realistic shout but Fred Again is a bit high personally for me. Anne Marie given the closeness of her Forest show to be 3rd on any day or subbing Other.

Think there was some info somewhere that Fred Again was being considered for Other Stage

I dispise him, but his popularity is off the scale

I'm going to go for The Prodigy still Sunday night as I remember something about Sam Smith and with him coming back it's likely Glastonbury will have him although I'd have seen him more a Pyramid sub. But anyway Fred Again before The Prodigy.

I'm not a huge fan so find it hard to judge quite how big he is but is he bigger now than Disclosure were on their first album when they did West Holts? I get that he seems to be everywhere now but headlining Other is a big jump.

    • Another note, if I didn't mention the food in the arena for main stage is right at the back. Bands wise they do very well for but as a festival so far they pros are outweighed quite heavily currently for me.
