Jacko45
Bit more of a clear picture emerging now, were going to need good waterproofs. Glasto virgin so little worried it won't feel quite the same if it buckets down all weekend. BUT what can you do?

Getting from A to B can be horrendous. Just the chance to sit down and recharge those weary legs from an extra muddy workout is a premium. Long way to go though weather wise. Jacko45
Just can't believe how unlucky it would be to be a washout. It's been glorious for 3 weeks straight lol

gigpusher
The weather forecast for where I live has changed completely for today 3 times. It was meant to pour down all evening but be dry at lunchtime, then it said it was going to pour down at lunchtime but be dry by evening and now it's saying 30% chance of light showers from Midday until 9pm so they can't even make their mind up on the day. Whatever happens there'll be weather and be prepared to deal with whatever variant we get. But we had really heavy rain yesterday and it's perfectly fine and dry at the moment. In these temperatures rainfall will do no harm. The good news is we should already have avoided the worst of it. Some variants of meh would be my preference but we get what we get. Glasto Weatherwatch
Not sure why people are talking about a washout with these rainfall totals. Plenty of time for things to change but most of these forecasts (bar the odd outlier) are for showers averaging 2-3mm a day at best. Nothing to be worried about yet.

The only years I've been where it was genuinely difficult getting around due to mud was 2016 and 2011. It has rained other years so I don't think a bit of rain is instant disaster, hopefully we can get away with it

Be a shame not to be able to enjoy that fully.

Obviously the main walkways got churned up but it was manageable and in most cases, dried up relatively quickly. Even by the sunday in 2011, the ground was absolutely fine by sunday. Yeah I'd take 15 all day long if it was put on the table now. Is it safe to say we won't be getting 2016 levels of mud at this stage? Seems like it is. A few showers here and there is no biggie.
