RiP - sound track to my life at university and beyond. Was at Warwick, Coventry during 2-tone era . Loved both Colourfield albums as well- played them on repeat. Terry was same age as me too-  sad news indeed 😢

Absolutely gutted about Terry, rare for me to love pretty much all the different musical projects of an artist, but certainly did with him.  There was talks about him doing some shows playing some of his solo stuff, which would have been amazing.  Lucky enough to have seen him a few times with The Specials, and once solo many moons ago.  What a talent, he will be missed.

RIP Terry - The Specials were probably the only band that all of my best mates loved. One of the best memories of my life was going to see them in 2011 at Cheltenham racecourse with literally all of my mates - what a night!

Also saw him a few times at Old Trafford when I used to watch United.

Sad news about Martin Duffy as well. Love to all their families and friends as it's a very tough time of year to lose someone.

Really sad to hear about Martin Duffy, RIP. Felt are one of my favourite bands and he was so crucial to the sound of their classic albums.

Yes, he ranks alongside John Logic Baird, Alexander Graham Bell, John McAdam, Alexander Fleming and James Watt as one of the greatest Scottish inventors.

scots love a good local  myth logie baird is over-rated was beaten to tv by at least one other guy (a german if i remember rightly) . watt was beaten to the steam engine by Trevithick.

theres others who claim chicken tikka masala too.
