He's a corrupt, selfish, morally bankrupt person who's losing the job he's wanted more than anything; he's capable of anything.

Maybe. To be honest I still can't work him out. Is he a bad person, or just a bit of a posh, lazy chancer? I have heard that he can be a nasty, vindictive bastard, but at same time he always seems like an affable if not slightly naughty posh chap. I guess that is his image, but if it is just an image he's very good at it! All I know is he isn't fit to be PM and I still can't believe he managed it, I guess it was brexit and his skills as a campaigner. But I don't know..parliament goes into recess soon...I'm sure he'll be going on some nice holidays over the summer...I just don't think he will actually purposely try and fuck things up.

The fact that people are even thinking about the possibility of this shit shows what a slippery bastard he is, but because he loves to truth mangle (and he didn't actually resign) then who knows. Think I'll grab another box of popcorn if the case:

No. He’s a nasty person who has tried to run roughshod over our democracy and cling onto power. He cares about no one else other than himself.

Yep, austerity forever.

well, they're talking about tax cuts rather than spending cuts...and one doesn't necessarily lead to another...but parts of this country are crying out for an increase in spending, and that can't all come from borrowing. I think we need to get the tories out asap to be honest, they're out of ideas. Maybe labour can try something new..but whatever happens we're going to go through some pain, feels inevitable, especially if we actually are going to transition to a net zero economy.

The whole tory saga of not funding pay rises is exactly the same rhetoric behind austerity from yesteryear: cream for the rich, everyone else has to foot the bill.

Don't forget that a *lot* of money was deliberately 'wasted' during the covid years when it was seen as an opportunity to siphon money off to their mates. And then there was Rishi quietly brushing over the £5bn+ of fraud that he was turning a blind eye to. And then, and then, and then...

My vote will be for Ben Wallace. He has an outstanding military record and doesn't f*** around. Apparently he set the biggest record of a bar bill in an officers mess in the army or at least the Scots guards. Kudos

Yeah, that's what we need in charge of the country - another party animal!

At least he is honest I am a Socialist but I am ex military and I think he has always fought his corner. Set aside things like Trident which I don't agree with he is argued for a workable army and military even with all the cuts
