Trying to organise a day drinking session is tough right now. Yorkshire Day is coming up and it’s tricky to get booked in. A lot of the smaller independent bars aren’t open yet and they don’t have a booking system set up or an app. The bigger chains do have booking available but would prefer to support the local places. We don’t really want to turn up on the day and just hope we can get in somewhere.

Where are you? Leeds and Bradford, I think the Brudenell has an app to order drinks onsite, and Nomadic Brewery is open for bookings. The latter is an indie. Granted, a brewery will focus on its own beers, but they're good. The Maltings are open in York, and others. I'm not sure on other places.

Planning on drinking in the centre of Leeds. Might have to wing things on the day and see where we can get in.

He could actually mime along to a recording and nobody would know which, given the state of his voice nowadays, might be a blessing.

    • Seems the addition of the Sun Stage area is interesting. Suspect this is the area where the Stage 4 used to be pre-2024. Looks as though they want to try create some space to keep people in amongst the arena post-headliners, rather than just crowds all descending back on the campsite entertainment at once.
    • 2000 Trees - 3 Day Tickets on Concert for Carers to buy (pair £15) sure they will not have them for long, I cant check if they are still available as it now says I have already bought tickets.
    • times and technology has changed , a pyramid headliner is often about the show thats put on as much as the music like it or not and as much as many would like to you cant really blame an artist for trying to get the best out of the set both for the audience in the field and for the cameras also .... Beyonce was 15 years ago
