Wait, so the family didn't have covid, his wife's story was made up, what BoJo said yesterday wasn't actually true, they went to Durham because he'd been threatened and if you're worried your eyesight isn't good enough to drive you should go for a drive? Right.

His timeline does make a bit more sense, but his circumstances were not more extraordinary than thousands of families up and down the country.

Significantly less so than the average family with symptoms, I'd say.

I will need to re listen to this- I still cannot work out why he went to durham as he felt ok?

Seems to be because his wife was ill (although not covid symptoms) and he had been on contact with the PM etc so assumed he was about to get ill with it 😕

The kid needed to stop for a wee on the 30 mile journey but not the 260 mile one 🤣

😂 they used the kids pee to fuel the vehicle.

Driving the car to a busy tourist spot half an hour away to test his eye sight. I salute you sir 👏

In sure he fucked up right at the start, didn’t he say given he worked with so many people that had already had Covid, he was sure he’d already had it?

I think he means in the sense that he was sure he'd probably contracted it and it was a matter of time until he came down ill...

Yes and I remember him saying that there was not anyone to help with childcare- surely he could of bought some in?  And there are relatives that were London based?  Bullshit.

It wasn't an eyesight test. It was a jolly. You don't pack your wife and kid in the car if you suspect you're going to crash the bloody thing.

Depends if you like them or not! Why drive to a tourist spot rather than 10 mins down the road by yourself?

He wasn't trying to go to a tourist spot, but he couldn't see where he was going 😂

    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
