Hi all!

2 questions (1 quite niche, one probably already been answered but this is a long thread!)

1. What's the consensus on tabs and browsers? My plan is to have Internet Explorer on one screen and Chrome on the other, with one tab only - manually refreshing. Is that wise?

2. Are postcodes space/ case sensitive? e.g. if two people have registered with the same postcode but one has written it ABC 123 and the other abc123 - does the form care whether it has spaces or caps?

I can’t be the only one reading this thread thinking The IT crowd need to chill out. 

Just do your one browser one tab and refresh like fuck. If it’s meant to be it’s meant to be.

dont think it will matter ... let one refresh automatically and f5 the other ... but no more than 60x per min in total

It's IP based. So even using like 5 devices on home router will do absolutely nothing. 

All my devices have the same IP address on my wifi.

I am going for one browser on laptop and 4g on phone. Anyone got any preference to Edge or Chrome on Windows laptop?

Haven't we agreed that it could make a difference as you could potentially be sent to a different load balancing server?

Just tried the whatsmyip thing, with my mobile and laptop on eduroam wifi, and the last digit was different, so I guess on university networks IPs are different on different devices (otherwise you'd potentially have 10000s on a single IP at any given time)?

I usually have 2 different browsers with one tab each--sometimes one browser seems to have better performance while the other won't even load the waiting page, so once I've figured out which is more promising I focus on that and leave the other in the background as a wild card

2 devices with different IPs, 1 browser on each in incognito mode. That's all I'm using

That's a load off my mind, although I still think I'll use mobile on 4g. Now to just decide on my many browsers to use!

I have not been this nervous ever after missing out more than ever in last 5 years (been once) although some of those were out of choice (getting married/having a baby). I will genuinely cry if I am successful tonight!

Can't lie, Glasto'19 has finished I've been preparing myself for not getting tickets this year and up until now I've felt fine.

Now absoloutely shitting it at the thought of not getting the tickets ? 32 of us trying and we've all got each others codes so fingers crossed, and good luck to everyone trying!!!
