Was really hoping for Bloc Party and seeing as they're playing in Bristol June 28th thought they would be pretty much nailed on :( (except they went and booked in Brighton the 29th annoying).

Surely they could still pop up on the Sunday!?! (Hoping so anyway, silent alarm has been a massive part of my life as an album)

Same. I resent Ally Pally as a venue so didn't bother with tickets for there and no other date has been feasible. Was really holding out for this :(

I know it was never really a ‘goer’ but I’m sat here with a few beers and couple of glasses of wine listening to Elton John’s Greatest Hits with the odd tear in my eye. Forgot how good this is. Think I’d pay premium to see him; so many bangers. ....out of character for me?

Who will protect the honour of Catfish?

It is I.

Love Catfish. My son who’s now 20, played em to death so they remind me of him now he’s away at uni. Don’t get the hatred.

    • Generally shorter too, I imagine. 🙂
    • Will that work for arenas with seats? People will have their tickets on their phones and needs to find their seat.
    • Excellent new release from overpass today - well worth checking out.
    • Having lived here for 2 and a half years now my take is that security, safety and organisation are just not a priority in Spain. It's not even exclusive to festivals. It's a part of everything.   Simple example. I'm Irish and in Ireland if you assemble a construction site you have to adhere to a lot of regulations about cordoning off the site so nobody can enter and get injured. Here, you're walking down the foot path and suddenly without any warning you're in a construction site. If not, you'll suddenly find yourself directed onto the road to get around the construction.   Life is more laid back here in general. Pros and cons.
