My prediction would be:

MS: Biffy Clyro / Foals , Wolf Alice, Skepta

R1: Bicep (Live), Dababy, Milky Chance.

MS: Travis Scott, Royal Blood, Run The Jewels

R1: Fontaines D.C (would love to see it), Glass Animals, Declan McKenna,

MS: Arctic Monkeys,  Gorillaz, Brockhampton

R1: Octavian, DMA’S , Playboi Carti

Skepta 4th will never happen, Da Baby up against Foals and Biffy could get messy. Fontaine’s aren’t big enough to headline R1 I don’t think. Gorillaz will not sub

apart from that sure

Gorillaz would probably be headline or nothing if they showed up. Royal Blood aren't going to sub again that quickly. Skepta 4th seems way too low. Fontaines were down for third on R1 this year, very much doubt they jump up two spaces. Album would have been out in time for the festival this year so can't argue that point for it.

Even tho I’ve done a few without any, I think we’ll have one of the headliners from this year carried over. Obviously I think Rage have been confirmed as not playing but I’d hope for one of these three.

Stormzy/The Strokes/Biffy//Foals or Bring Me

Travis Scott/LG/Biffy//Foals or Bring Me

Dave//Dua Lipa/Courteeners/Rage

I doubt they lose Stormzy or Gallagher with them both being British.

That’s true, maybe just chuck Biffy and Foals as a co head then, which could give them a bit of scope to upgrade the undercard

New DMA’s tune is outstanding, hoping they get a decent slot

Reading it absolutely chucked it down for a couple hours before Nothing But Thieves, and FOB. Really considered going home having seen Fall Out Boy two years before, glad I stayed they were good.

but it didn’t rain the rest of the weekend, I remember taking a jumper and a raincoat and never using them for the last two days

They’ve got a few out - most recent is called Learning Alive

Idk why but I’ve never really got into the DMAs

Ah yes, I was in The Pit for most of the Friday so had shelter.

Same, saw them mainstage at Citadel and they were just bland

I was very bored by them at Citadel, but during lockdown I gave them another try and I honestly love their stuff so much now. Personally much prefer the newer direction, his voice is just elite and just gives that massive 90s Manchester nostalgia vibe with modern production

In true FR survey style, who are 4 non headliner bands everyone would want to see on lineup that you've been really getting into during lockdown?

Mine would probably be Beartooth, DMA'S, Polaris and Pendulum.

Cage the Elephant, Jack Garratt, Everything Everything, Halloweens

it's a fantastic line-up but on the wrong end of summer so i'm not convinced we'll share many of the same acts due to their touring schedules, would definitely consider buying tickets to it but i can't justify another festival next year

    • My party again had an outstanding 4 days in Barca. We made the right call to leave the festival site early at about 10.30 on Thursday to get ourselves some excellent steaks in the city. I am with everyone that the organization should have been clearer about what is going on and also if you would like to get rid of some attendees open more exits, they sent us from gate to gate until we finally were able to get out. Biggest 'disappointment' was the beer price, a YoY increase from 5 to 6 is absolutely nuts!!! (i am living in Switzerland so me making this comment says something 🙂)   Top 10:   1. Men I Trust 2. Role Model (could have been first as well, what a great artist and great songs) 3. The XX 4. The cure (the last 90 minutes) 5. Gorillaz 6. MBV 7. Ninajirachi (another big miss of the organization, clearly on the wrong podium and wonder if Olivia's surprise set had something to do with that and they had to reschuffle late the Occident, Cupra and Port schedules) 8. NewDad 9. Big Thief 10. Annastashia      We did 3 years Barca now and for next year looking at the Porto or Bilbao festivals as an option.
    • Personally if it was me now, I would be grabbing a green camping ticket with the knowledge closer when I've refreshed that I can still choose general if I want to....you can't do the opposite!    I would say if you are happy to watch your headliners and big bands further back to be able to see who you actually plan to later then yes it is fine. Its a much difference experience to any other festival especially food wise and camping surrounds.    Once you're in the arena as well you're not going back unless you've got a gap. If I go again I'll be going with the option of not trying to push the front and enjoying further back as you actually put too much pressure on it than the time take away can forget to enjoy other acts.
    • No complaints about the sound. We were like 2nd set of steps facing stage right in like the middle row.
    • On the whole then, yay or nay...I've had a look on festivals united and there's people who seem converted by Rock Im Park, I can imagine it might be different if it was a washout as RaR is tarmac.   The hotel side would be more to convince the non campers if it's an option. On my first visit to rock am ring we were shuttled into the area where you could stick the car next to the tent which was fantastic as it meant zero lugging of camping gear.
