Travis Scott + Lizzo is a co-headline booking I can see happening. I can also see them addressing the concerns of a lack of female representation by booking more women in prominent positions next year (if they’re available). Additionally, I think there will be a fair few repeat bookings again depending on the crowds certain acts pull this year.

I like this one, just think Arctic Monkeys instead of Kasabian if Kasabian release nothing

Seems about right to me. Tame Impala, Lizzo and Dave subbing.

I think Tame Impala would co head, just for the dark

I feel like Tame Impala are destined to have a similar career path as Arcade Fire.

Achieve great things, have a few smashing albums and headline festivals over the world, but the ordinary punter in the street has probably never heard of them.

I still find it really alarming that whenever I discuss tame impala I frequently get a “who?” back. It’s bonkers to me.

Everyone only knows The Less I Know the Better because of TikTok

But that whole album is a fucking masterpiece

Because they've not been booked at the festival since 2013 despite having critically acclaimed albums, so either the festival doesn't want them or they can't get them.

I'll be honest I thought Currents was rubbish and dont get the fuss.

I’d agree that until now they’d probably not been on the radar but I reckon the new one could put them firmly back on it. After this summer they’ll be a solidified headline sized band I’m sure of it, I wouldn’t be surprised to see R&L take a punt on them (him)

People don’t only know that song because of that app though. That song had hundreds of millions of streams before that app even existed

    • Debut album from Haiver (ex Frightened Rabbit's Billy Kennedy band) is an absolutely gorgeous thing. If you're a fan of FR then you'll probably like it. Definitely a contender for album of the year for me.
    • The tickets for the back at Muse, did go on sale. I know because I bought tickets there because they were the cheapest. All in with fee's, I got tickets at £81.20 each.   So likely, sold out quickly for those wanting the cheapest tickets. Either that or sold poorly and they took them off sale and when I turn up they offer me paper ticket upgrades because they closed the back.
    • She's headlining Reading and Leeds. Not to be sniffed at. She's also done her substantial arena tour since last time.    I think she's a decent bet to do it.
    • The best Punisher stuff from the Bernthal time is probably Daredevil. Although season 2 of Punisher is a great kinda study on what Castle can be.   But his first turn up in Daredevil was an absolute blast.    I thought Brand New Day did a decent job with him.
    • Basement only getting 30 mins right at the start of the day is a ballache, how annoying
