Anyone have an opinion on what this festivals like to go alone?! I’m stuck in London with work for a couple days and reckon I should just get a ticket and go but I know no one in London hahah

You'll be grand - I went to a few last year, including the Nick Cave day on my own.

You'll surely find a couple on here if you'd want to make new friends. I'm going to the Strokes and Bon Iver days with mates, we'd always welcome tag-alongs.

Hi guys!

Im from Spain and I comming to London this Weekend, unfortunately Saturday tickets are sold out and VIP are too expensive.

Do you know where I can buy a couple of tickets safely? They send you them throgh email or in ordinary mail (paper)?

Thankss a lot, sorry  my English is a little bit rusty!

Try Twickets, it's a fan to fan resale site. You may want to set up an alert for when someone is trying to see sell a spare pair.

Stumbled upon some small updates to the JagerHaus stage, dunno how long they've been there. They've moved the order around on practically each day; added Sinead O'Brien (no, not that one) and, randomly a Flamingods DJ set to Sat 25th; Retiree no longer appears to be in work on Sun 26th;  HEALTH have replaced Warmduscher on Fri 31st.

Official website. On the breakdown on the page marked 'Stages'.

HEALTH added to the BMTH day as well? Yeah man. Their latest album is great.

Don't pin hopes on seeing them if you're wanting to see both of RTJ and Architects.

I want to see architects but not RTJ so i'm hoping itll work out

Though just seen the stages bit and thats the dumbest thing i've ever seen. How do they not have the full lineup on the page marked full lineup. Baffles me

Any bets on what kind of slot Fat White Family will have? Wanna catch them so badly but have to leave early that night

edit: are they just doing a dj set?!

They’re doing a live set too, and not late if they’re doing a DJ set as well.

Do you know they’re doing a show in London the week before? Seems crazy to attend this with the primary goal of seeing the Fat Whites, not gonna lie.

That’s not my primary goal at all hahaha.  I’ve a few days off in London for work and the whole festival looks pretty appealing. Just curious as to how they’re usually billed at festivals.

Fair. :D

They're pretty high up the billing here so I would think they'll be mid-to-late on one of the bigger outdoor stages, starting no earlier than 4 but finishing no later than 7:30.

I've made a playlist for the Strokes day, like the big Glasto one, using the songs featuring most often in each act's recent setlists. It's a cracking lineup so there's loads of good stuff on there:

Updated this with all the Jagerhaus acts (Psychedelic Porn Crumpets much better than their name might suggest), and updated song selections for some of the bigger acts based on recent setlists.

Does anybody know when we can expect them to confirm the lineups, incluiding stage splits? I remember we had all the timings confirmed before last year, but I'm not sure how long in advance.

I went on the 26th last year (the xx) and the times came out for that on the 18th late afternoon/early evening.

You can download the APE app now. I guess the stage times will be displayed in there closer to the first weekend. I would be a bit disappointed if The Strokes only played for 75 minutes.

They had an hour and a half slot at Primavera 2015, though they maybe came on a bit late.  I think you can reasonably expect 15 - 20 songs.  They rattle them out and although the band themselves seem pretty ambivalent, I think it's good daft fun.

Ta!

Hopefully we'll have a least a week or so to plan running between the stages/ice cream vans.

To be honest, I don't think there'll be as many acts on the second weekend. They did the same last year

Fair shout, I think the lack of the "Presents" label this year made me expect more.

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
    • I think the level of headliners Bloodstock get is varied    There's been bands who have gone on to play Download in quite a low spot like Meshuggah, Behemoth, Opeth etc.    Then they've had years like 2025 where you can argue that all three headliners are download main stage sub level    Knocked Loose right now i'd argue are 3rd down on main/opus headliner level while EC and FFDP are borderline main stage sub
    • Yeah Roy's Tune was lovely. Looking forward to the whole thing hopefully going on iPlayer.   It's scattered dates they have this year really, proper tour/s to come next year - suspect a new single will drop in the next couple of months, providing the album is done.
