Hey guys, just wondered if any can give me some advice - We are desperate to get tickets this year (as I know everyone is) but want to drive, what do you think about the idea of going on the coach - then a taxi back to our car and driving in - would this be possible? I know its a bit of a mission but if its increases our chances - we are wondering whether we should We have found a coach stop not too far from the site) Is it doable? Has anyone done it before - i'm sure i've read people have on efestivals a few years ago but couldn't find much!

But theres just a few potential issues/queries - im just not sure if we would be able to get a car park ticket - I know that on the website it says GA only can buy these but I wondered if someone who had a GA bought one for us, would they know? Not sure whether they would check the tickets we had to ensure they were GA, whether coach tickets are entirely different colour to GA so would be obvious (?) or for whatever reason whether it would even work. We REALLY want to go but want to be able to have our car to have our things and no limit on what we want to take, and also be able to drive back on the monday at the time that suits us.

And not sure of any other car parking options that there might be other than the official car parks on site?

Anyway, thanks for your help and good luck tomorrow (and sunday) if you are trying - I hope we all get tickets!!

The To your question is yes.. Why not if you are willing to do that.. Believe it or not if you don't have a car park ticket you CAN if you flutter your eyes get one on the gate.. So if you really want to go then you can do that...

BUT IF YOU GET MY TICKET THIS WAY I WILL HAVE TO HAVE PAYMENT OF ONE BOTTLE OF VODKA lol

Might need this.....

Had it all planned but now a last minute change; currently at sister-in-laws for the weekend.

Will now have a laptop hot spotted to ?4G, one on WiFi, one person trying on a phone and my daughter trying back home on her laptop. oh and best mate trying in deepest darkest north wales. Bloody nervous, especially reading all that happened yesterday.

Going to keep it simple though, no multiple tabs and over zealous f5’ng, always worked in the past.

Sincere good luck to one and all come Sunday, looking forward to some proper countdown once the dust has settled.

    • Ah, that is interesting and ruins my theory a bit!!   I think my point just about holds though, and coming full circle on this discussion, being a sizable band such as Muse and not being able to sell out two O2 dates very quickly or at all doesn’t fill me with confidence that they be able to do a decent job selling a stadium tour…although maybe if Muse do something about their pricing, maybe they can!
    • I’ve said it elsewhere too but Emily Eavis said a 2028 headliner was booked, to me that’s only going to be someone the size of Oasis or Taylor Swift
    • Christ didn't even see that!
    • It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
    • Second go.....    Still f**king fantastic - Well done WIlliam Orbit -  Bugman & Trimm Trabb mega tracks - No Distance Left To Run hauntingly Beautiful
