they are literally both none camping festivals in the middle of summer, in town/ city centres, run by companies who specialise in the same genre of acts who book the same acts. 

bread and butter of a festival is the top end of the card, for these festivals, they pretty much book the same acts (apart from acts like AM who NBHD cant afford)

and i would be shocked by a festival that needs to sell 50k tickets booking a headliner that has barely shifted 10k tickets at a smaller version of itself. ezra at NBHD so far is a colossal failiure, i would be shocked that people booking trnsmt aren't able to see that.

TRNMST has had Queen & Radiohead headline lol. The first year of that Neighbourhood festival went so niche with its types of acts to the extent they couldn't replicate it the next year.

Your comaprisons between Neighbourhood and transmit are so stupid just cause the LG day from last year had similar acts doesn't mean that they are as you say the same type of festival just different in size.

Also if you don't want to go to see him then just don't lol

george ezra isnt a festival headlining act because people who go to festivals arent that invested in him, they wouldnt mind seeing during the day ( i watched him at trnsmt 2 years ago) someone said earlier hes music for people who arent really into music and i think he hit the nail on the head.

stormzy on the other hand simply isnt that big outside london, and he is only headlining Glastonbury for the sake of diversification. once again people might watch him during the day. but should not headline a festival like trnsmt. maybe wireless that is put on more for fans of his genre and closer to his area.

Camden Rocks and Kendal Calling will be keeping me from this, as well as a trip to see Muse in between.

It's still one that interests me though if a day looks more appealing than others like The Killers last year. By the looks of it, there won't be such a day.

That’s the thing,  there is so much good music on in Scotland this summer, if TRNSMT pulls it out the bag, great! If not the summer is sorted anyway
