The line up was really good before yesterdays announcement. As good as I've seen in ages.

Yesterdays announcement was also really good.

So why does it feel unbalanced now? Maybe the Slayer & Die Antwotsit positioning?

Overall there's more bands I like than last year, but Friday just doesn't do it for me (apart from two bands on the tent stages and probably won't get more than half an hour). There's gonna be a lot of time wandering about on that day.

Suprised by the Sunday positionings. Seem to be clashing several bands who have a cross over fan base.

Wondering if Halestorm and Slayer will finish before the Main headliners start. Halestorm vs Die Antwoord makes sense to me.

Idles as one of the avalanche headliners? I’d have thought they’d have bigger things in mind but considering they’re completely whoring themselves out this summer it wouldn’t surprise me.

Looking at Arch Enemy's tour dates they have a 20 day gap in June that includes Download dates. So think they would be a decent bet to be added somewhere. Maybe low down main stage Saturday or 2nd stage saturday.

I'd like to see this with a much wider social audience. But the Die Antwoord reception will be awful....what makes someone think them subbing Slipknot or subbing at all is a god idea.
