While everyone is prepping, you might want to switch off any bookmark banner you have under the address bar. One year in the main sale, I was about 30mins in and instinctively went to click into the address bar and hit enter to refresh (rather than F5) and accidentally hit a bookmark, taking me away from the queue. Pretty harrowing at the time! I think I got through on another computer..can't remember..aanyway, that's my tip of the day (also, use F5).

I have been guilty of having too many browsers open in the past and you get too stressed and can't keep control of them all.  Keep calm and focussed on a couple.

Normal refresh is fine, although a hard refresh might prevent the situation wetwipes described above where the page was auto refreshing after it was sold out.

Two browsers are good, as are single private windows.

lots of auto refreshing goin on for me... different browsers, and one session in each (you can have an extra in each in incognito / private mode)

Getting the processing page and reg closed pages swapping at the mo!

It's been fine for me all day, clear your history, cache & cookies and restart your machine and try again

I think randomly - has been in the past. My friends were lined up for a 6am pickup - which wasn't great for their body clocks going into the festival!
