Would be cool for Glasto fans but not for the wider public and 18 year old girl target audience

Sheeran and Perry as someone suggested earlier makes more sensee

We have history dating back to 685AD.....I think Adge was around then too.

Me neither. Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran? If it weren't for the fact they're both strongly rumoured nobody would even entertain the notion.

Depends where you were up to Ben. The Foo's website now has a timer over an in-flight TV screen counting down to 7:45 Friday night and a guy who specialises in live music TV broadcasts has been advertising for a runner in Frome on Friday.

It's looking increasingly likely that the secret gig is happening and that it'll be streamed. Doesn't take us any closer to anything related to Glasto though (other that they'll be in the area).

The tv guy has also done previous work with/for the Foo's.

Oh and the 1975 possibly rust ruined their career on live tv.

PJ - do you know Blueneck? Band local to Frome and their main man, Dunk, is a mate of mine. Saw them at the C&G a few years ago. The band played Avalon Café in 2014. Post-rock loveliness...

Hi Ben....no one really knows for sure but the clues do seem to all be there.  Pretty epic set of coincidences if not.

Not familiar with Blueneck or your buddy Dunk....I'll check them out though.

Not seen anything from Props on it. Almost certainly gonna drive down Friday evening and try and blag it. Worst case scenario, find a pub in Frome and jealously hate on everyone in there.

been watching over these forums for months now and thought it about time I chip in!

loving the last few days on this thread, kept me thoroughly entertained 

so on basis C&G is a go, how do we think the rest of the tickets will be dished out? surely must be more than the half dozen golden tickets seen.

Facebook is usually way behind the curve. They're only just starting to twig there's a secret gig happening, and quite honestly I suspect those that do know are also members here.

Nothing to do with the people there incidentally. It's just that Facebook's method of selecting posts for you is pretty crap, meaning you may not get to see something that has been posted for ages.

A stupid amount will be dished out to industry insiders with the remainder going to fan club members. I'd be quite surprised if they actually sell any on the door.

I've seen more and more tickets being posted on social media last few days. More so than initially found/seen. 

 

Baring in in mind it's a 700 capacity venue , there won't be many tickets flying around
