Here's my take for the Pyramid and Other stage (with extra formatting since I'm a sucker for these stuff) - it's a mix of my prediction based on the information we have, who's touring, who I feel would be a good booking and also who I personally want to see to show up:

The special guests before Foo is a Gorillaz secret set.

Ah, Saturday on the Pyramid

Reckon at this stage we're looking at a pretty bleak selection on Pyramid/Other in general to be honest. But I think that'll be made up for by the really strong showing we're looking at from the other three main stages. Going from the acts we're expecting and those that are available Park in particular is looking to be stacked to fuck.

Personally top of Pyramid on Saturday and Sunday are fine for me and The Park is never my thing.

That's just the bias of our predictions tho - it'll turn out that lots of bands we're predicting for those three smaller stages because we want 'em there actually turn up on Pyramid and Other, so those stages aren't as bad as previously thought.

Yeah true. Sleaford Mods for Pyramid, then.

That is so stacked and excessively so. Amount of big acts in low slots on pyramid especially seems pretty unlikely.

Lorde won't be 5th down, Chance definitely wont be 6th down, The Weeknd wont be 3rd. Pretty much every act has a case to be shunted up at least 1 slot imo.

Radiohead Vs Justice? No thanks.

Yeah, that seems an usually clash. Whoever plays against Radiohead has got to be:

a) Modern, gormless dance act worshipped by Tango-coloured girls.

b ) a "rock" group heralded by "lads" as the best thing since sliced bread.

c) something distinctly folksy/bluesy/soulsy, but still commercially viable.

So really, if we could just put The Chainsmokers/Courteeners/Rag N'Bone Man there, no-one is going to complain. Probably.

Chainsmokers are probably not being given enough consideration for a slot at Glastonbury. Flavour of the month dance act touring around the time. Dread to think where they'd play, so I won't. :P

Thank f*** for small mercies :P

I was working the other night and encountered another eFests user who asked if I was the elusive dentalplan. I had to let them down gently, though was flattered they thought me witty enough :P

Where do you work? Was probably me tbh.

I dread finding another eFests user somewhere like work or uni. Not long ago I was at work in an empty shop so me and the person I was on with were just sat talking in the back. She was telling me about this new TRNSMT festival she wants to go to where Radiohead are headlining, and was on about how much it costs and then goes on her phone and loads up eFests to show me.

Similarly one time last year I was sat in the kitchen in my halls flat with my flatmate who was planning to buy Glasto tickets in the resale. She goes "I was googling to see when the resale will be and found this website with people discussing it", then shows me an eFests thread that literally had me posting all over it. She'd recognise my username too cos it was the same as my Twitter and everything, so I shit myself and moved conversation on. I really need to get my username changed.

Nah, wasn't you, sire. Though their username matched up their real one pretty easy.

Mine's just cribbed from a Springsteen song an an unhealthy love of steam engines :P

I hadn't heard this story yet either :P:D always someone uninitiated to listen.

@dentalplan mentioned the other day about The Weeknd saying his music isn't suitable for daytime or something, and gave it as justification for him being an Other headliner as opposed to a Pyramid sub. I always saw him as a Pyramid sub but having just flicked through this video watching little snippets, I think he's probably right, and Other headliner it is.

I also thought he may potentially be too big for Other headliner and may even draw a similar sized crowd to Radiohead, but was surprised to learn from Zac Quinn the other day that his last album only reached number 5 in the charts. I was really surprised by this and thought he was probably on his way to pushing headline status.

So anyway, I think I'll now have to go with The Weeknd opposite Radiohead. His lack of exclusivity at Wireless suggests he will be elsewhere, as others have mentioned. The xx probably suit a Pyramid sub slot more than he does, especially with their new album.
