Stage Predictions 2017

so yet another bit of evidence that the order of the poster is correct.

headliners in order of day.

at least one of the expected Pyramid subs in the correct position for their day.

the expected Other subs seemingly grouped together and in the correct day order.

basically Katy Perry has been bumped up from the 3rd line because she's a big name.

Radiohead/The XX/Royal Blood

Foo Fighters/The National

Ed Sheeran/Biffy Clyro

Major Lazer

Alt-J

BBK

Katy Perry 3rd on Saturday or Sunday.

Katy Saturday is best case scenario then Chic Sunday.

Craig David, KC will be two leaving two more for that day. Hopefully there is a 4th there between these and one to open.

So basically we can ignore the preceeding 62 pages as the Biffy news has made all of it wrong.

They are messing with our minds :D

I'm of the opinion they have drip fed this Biffy info to mess with us even more. A double bluff. They are the only act that follows the poster order theory...

The guy who did the article said The xx were playing underneath Radiohead last night in a different piece so I'm taking that as a drip of something he had in his chopped up interview.

I bet tomorrow's news is that The Jacksons are headlining West Holts.

Oh FFS 3 acts I was looking forward to seeing the most this year were The National, Solange and The Avalanches! That really pisses me off, The National will be lost on the Pyramid before Foo Fighters too :( didn't they learn anything from Beck and Tame Impala last year? LCD Soundsystem headlining Other worked amazingly last year, why couldn't we have the same with The National, get Alt-J subbing Foo Fighters and they'd do a much better job of it! Then get The National on Other on Saturday.

As you can see I'm pretty pissed off.

For those curious why I seem to care little for Justice, it's more that I haven't heard anything by them, rather than dislike. So if anyone wants to throw me some recommendations, I'll be very grateful.

Love how we all abbreviate bands on here, assuming we all know them...."BBK", "Justice", etc...

I'd start with this, which you might recall was on MTV a bit back in they day…U2 took them around a lot back on the “Unforgettable Fire” tour I believe…

    • You do get some weird swings here and there, so... Cypress Hill?
    • It was great, but I don't know why they continue to play Wide Lovely Eyes and Rings of Saturn, which are the weakest of the tracks off both PTSA and ST. Well, I do. It's cos they're about Suzie, so he can sing what he wants. They're the low points of the set. The rest is ace.
    • I didn't this time, but I've seen them before and just because you saw both that night doesn’t mean you can compare them. The Stones were great, but.you didn't think so and you went somewhere else looking for a good time and you found it. For whatever reason you didn't like it, but you were an outlier and all the reviews said they were great.
    • Annie Lennox could be the one to unite the whole forum, nobody has a bad word to say about her, even noted curmudgeon Skip 😄 I'd probably even amble along for a bit meself, and i'm also a miserable sod
    • If the below link works - thats interesting.   While I don't particularly put much stock in that account as a source (never seen it before though, tbf), and I can pick a hole or two (see below) in what he says - the timing of it is a week before I had the Fontaines '27 stadium info (same stadium he says on there, Tottenham). The info, or part of it, matches up.   Holes I'd pick: I'd have to watch again but I THINK he says 'end of year' for Tottenham - not possible, for a number of reasons, though he's probably just got his words mixed up there. It's Summer '27, or that's what I've been told. He also says Glastonbury is/would be based on how the album does. That doesn't stack up to me, unless it was a 2028 thing. I suppose that could stack up, i.e a verbal agreement for 2028, but still seems a bit of an odd approach. I would personally still expect it to be 2027 alongside the stadium gigs, IF they are gonna do it, though I've still not got a Scooby when the album is gonna drop, only that the tour is due for Spring (or early) next year.   Interesting, nonetheless.   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOB3Q9qkwW/
