Not convinced on the weeknd being an other stage headliner.

He's one of the biggest artists about right now, pyramid or nothing I think.

also can imagine he's an act with management that ask for pretty high fees - can't imagine he's bothered about Glastonbury either considering he dropped out ages ago and never got booked again.

I agree it makes sense for his appeal and popularity however I just can't imagine his set happening in daylight. In fact I've just googled and he's said this: “Sometimes I have to perform during the day for festivals, and my music does not work in the daytime. It is nighttime music. When you come to my show, I want it to feel like opera, like a theatre. The darkness is important for me.”

It's not like it's a poor slot anyway - some are even predicting Green Day to headline the Other. :P

Pretty confident he'll be there as he's not officially down as an exclusive for Wireless and as far as I can see there aren't any other UK festivals he can do through late June and July.

Didn't the XX say the same?

I still think he'l be a pyramid sub if he is there - fantastic booking from the festival either way, he's incredibly current and will get a fooking massive crowd

The weekend is the act that has made me feel old....

Its the first high Pyramid / Other Stage act that Ive ever had to look up because Ive never heard of them, when people started mentioning them / him.

Other acts Ive not known much of, but the weekend was a complete new one.

I think they've sort of cycled back on that. One of the big noises made about this new album is that it's not all shadowy and spOOky so they could move into a daytime slot no harm done. I think it'll fall flat but could happen all the same. Weeknd's still in the dark, and aside from his quote I think he has a load of pyro and screens and stuff going on that wouldn't be much cop before the sun's down.

Still convinced Kraftwerk are on WH in that Bonobo slot, JP for him I reckon.

Think your Pyramid looks likely - Not keen on that other stage though... I never thought I'd feel out of touch with music in my late 20's but that Other stage suggestion does it - I'm sure there's always something a bit more alternative on there in a good slot... PJ Harvey, Pixies, Belle + Sebastian etc.

Whitney - DiRo - Bazza - Lips - Justice would be a hell of a party to finish the festival.

That Saturday evening is clashtastic, I love it.

I much prefer Jamiroquai in an afternoon position too, avoids a headliner clash and reckon it'll go down well. Similar position to Madness last year would be terrific.

What's up with all the Jamiroquai predictions? They're only a rumour on the artist page - they've been there for a while too, but is this based on anything? They keep coming up in predictions but I don't know if there's good evidence for this or there's just a lot of Jam. fans on the board

They're about and from memory their tour dates put them very much in the frame. One of those where there's not exactly specific info to say they'll be there, but all the signs point to them playing.

Yeah, fair enough. I've never seen him in a festival up to now, would be a nice alternative to Radiohead who seem to be doing a lot at the moment

Barry Gibb - The Flaming Lips - Kraftwerk.

I could deal with that.

Really banking on ATCQ not being a headliner right now if I'm honest - because I think I've got my heart set on Radiohead - The Jacksons - Kraftwerk as my three headliners. Let's see what else gets pulled out of the bag.

I'm going to be gutted if everyone's predictions are wrong and Kraftwerk aren't playing (despite seeing them a week or two beforehand).

Me too. I couldn't afford them at the time they went on sale (was buying something else that day, though can't remember what) and I fear this could be their last visit to UK shores. Never seen them before.

Granted, if I miss them, they're not an act on my Sell My Grandmother For A Ticket list - but it would be a fabulous way to finish off proceedings. If ATCQ turn up as Sunday night headliner somewhere, it'll be a proper headache...

Yeah, same. If ATCQ were there as a headliner then that would seriously mess with my schedule! Here's hoping for a friendly clash-free festival!

Omar Souleyman > Mitski > Imarhan > Diana Ross > Young Fathers > Erykah Badu > Justice on Sunday is one to rival 2015's unbelievable Sunday of The Smyths > Songhoy Blues > Ibibio Sound Machine > Patti Smith > Alvvays > Charli XCX > Belle & Sebastian > FKA Twigs > Flying Lotus (I lived that, and I'll my grandkids one day), but I would like a world in which seeing all of  ATCQ, Solange, Grandaddy, Run The Jewels and The Jacksons was possible. Get Quest and Metronomy off the Other as well, put them on a decent stage you deranged maniac. I see you stacking the clashes against First Aid Kit because you hate them as well, I know your game.

I think it's more likely for ATCQ to be subbing other than low on pyramid. Am I right in saying I saw them as low as 5th down on pyramid in a prediction a couple of pages back? With Craig Bloody David 4th down on another day - I'm sorry but if that comes to pass then something is seriously wrong.

    • We had one f**kwit one year come back at 4am and start playing music out loud and sitting under the tree talking. Thankfully his mate was in the tent trying to sleep too and came out and told him to f**k off. After one big argument he did indeed f**k off.   Otherwise I can actually sleep at GM without ear plugs compared to glasto. It's usually typically fine for sleeping at.

    • Yeah, she sold out BST twice and I think she'll return with even more interest.
    • To me MGK doesn't shift tickets, but could appeal to a younger demographic.    Don Broco/Architects/Jimmy Eat World/Turnstile - one or two of these would hit better.
    • I'm going, some friends and relatives will also be there on some days. I'm going on Sunday, then Tuesday to Saturday. I'm staying in the city From the headliners I'm most excited for Florence and twenty one pilots. Smaller acts I'm really looking forward to are: Tomora, Dijon, Wolf Alice and Sigrid
