Hmm, it doesn't explicitly say is 4 tickets per transaction in the resale (compared to 6 in the main sale), but it always has been before, hasn't it?

Am in a group of 5 trying to get tickets, and the other four are family. Guess am going to be the Glastonbury gooseberry!

That's how I got in last year. Bought my coach ticket waiting for a train at Redhill on the way home on my phone. Was on refresh for 15 minutes before and got straight on, was so nervous had to put my card number in three times! Got it sorted though.

Thanks. Though my mate has just said given I've wangled tickets for the group for the previous 4 years (fastest F5 finger in the west, me) I'm in the first cut, which is nice.

Fingers crossed for Sunday week - have scored in the resale before, will have to search out my lucky keyboard.

Ah right that explains it then!  Thanks - have spent the afternoon looking at these pages, the spotify list, maps, Tort's page.  Am going to be gutted if I don't get one.  On the plus side, I've been ok'd for time off.  But will have to decide whether to try for the coach tickets as I'm not sure how much time I will be able to get.  Decisions, decisions!

Your attendance record and post count are inversely proportional to mine, Watergirl! I probably love the festival as much as you after only one time there (not easy to describe the effect it has had on me, and I've been to lots of 'other' festivals...!), but I dearly hope you are successful next week as you clearly love the place so much!

Yeah im pretty much the same. Let the gods decide next week and all that but despite me trying to avoid this place as i didnt get a ticket now im sucked in and have started making mental plans about who i went to see. And started listening to brave sir robins playlist. Damn i need to go now!

In my experiences on this site, Neil rarely makes such specific guesses. (If that's wrong please put that right) - I think there must be some reason for the date of Wednesday to be mentioned, and he has mentioned it a couple of times.

hunch, based on last year.

What I didn't hear because I'm not allowed to repeat things I did hear is that no announcement is currently scheduled, which would suggest there's not one this week.

My hunch feels like it's more likely to be on the money.

Does anyone know how many tickets you can buy in the resale? Is it 6 like in the main sale? 

Also, can anyone remember exactly what info you need for each person? Is it just reg number or other things too?

So if I buy a ticket in the coach resale, I can't choose the departure time, but if I get a ticket in the general resale then I can just go on the National Express site, buy coach seats on there and choose the departure time I want?

      Policing is very relaxed, provided you stay within your lines I'd say. I don't think we're supposed to have an event shelter as well as a tent next to our van, but we've done it without issue for years. It's a happy vibe up there.

      Do feel a lot more cynical about the Mercury now. Given the awards show is now an arena event, there's clearly a pressure on them to nominate mainstream acts in order to sell tickets for it. And not saying that Jade and Knats don't deserve to be nominated (haven't listened to either), but the fact the event is in Newcastle can't have nothing to do with that...
