Maybe the guy was right about the WH headliner pulling out and it was D'Angelo, and this was supposed to be the poster, and it somehow went up by accident today.

It would also explain why it wasn't announced officially. Weird mistake.

That's weird.

Given so many of us hadn't heard of him before today are we absolutely 100% sure he actually exists?

Perhaps we were all just sucked into some alternate reality briefly.

Hahaha this is hilarious. "D'Angelo" was obviously just a placeholder for when Radiohead get added.

Yeah, they thought "which random artist could we put before Beck" and this happened. They sadly don't have the same amount of letters.

Who said this? Any more detail?

a couple of days before the poster came out some guy on the Glasto Chat Facebook group said he ran in to some of the organisers and they told him that one of the West Holts headliners had pulled out that day, and that Adele wasn't headlining because she demanded too much money, so obviously not a reliable source at all

The new poster is still hosted on the site and viewable: ( it's called 2016poster.png) but it's now been replaced on the actual page by the old one (16lup1200pxwideab.png), so someone fucked up.

Cheers. Clearly they took D'Angelo's money and gave it to Adele.

His biggest (I think) album was 16 years ago :P

I've only heard of him from people praising his last album in 2014 on this forum.

I'd have guessed WH headliner but his position on the poster does seem odd, along with Beck's.

Hope they are the Pyramid subs, though, allowing Disclosure to be Friday Other and LCD Sunday :P

If that happens and LCD and EWF clash then I'll go on a murderous rampage, dragging anyone I come across with the name Michael, Emily or Eavis to the pits of hell with me.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
