Was gutted when I had to "retire" my old Glastonbury hat, similar to the Nal's, after 5 or 6 festivals. It was given an honourable burial at the exit gates in 2014.

My 2015 hat was a baseball cap and was a poor if last minute decision.

Hopefully this years will be more of a success

Mine was lost in 2013, had lasted me many years and festivals.  I replaced it with the bog standard straw trilby last year which I hope will see as many years service.

I have a rusty old US marine helmet in the shed that every year I say I'm going to paint up and take, never do.

Until lost at the festival in 2013, the hat in my avatar, from Oktoberfest:photo-thumb-108475.jpg

Shortly after the festival someone advertised one very similar for sale on eBay, described as 'slightly muddy'!!

I have a trilby-type affair now, but vaguely on the look out for something better.

I would be totally tempted to join you.  I was looking at a video of a certain mr Yorke the other day and thinking how fine a bowler looks atop a scruffy persons head.
