It is relevant and it merits some discussion, but what's less certain is whether there's anything that anyone can say in response to it that'll prevent it being brought up again in a few days time.  And then a few days again after that.

Not unrelated to my dislike of her. 

Her comment is historic but would be surprised if her views are any different now. Just a better PR in place.

She also described herself as a "Labour girl" and has slagged off David Cameron before too. Obviously what she said about tax was stupid but she was pretty young and stupid at the time. There have been people guilty of far worse who've graced the Pyramid.

Because people keep referencing her likeable down to earth persona, so it is pertinent to acknowledge that behind that facade is a nasty Tory who resents her money paying for social services.

Unless of course she actually has many different public personas and the tax avoiding one is just another facet of her act I suppose.

In any case, it is telling that everyone is more interested in discussing this topic than her dreary ballads. There hasn't been a single grainy YouTube clip posted or anything!

So now you are saying I shouldve been filming the moment on a smart phone as some way of proving what a good time was had?  I get confused as what is the dictated behaviour that I'm there to adopt are.  I'm certain there are a tonne of threads bemoaning smartphones and filming gigs.

Re her persona... Every artist had some sort of persona, many have multiple.  It's how they get us to buy records, branding and PR are half the battle the songs come later.

I'm not advocating anyone going to see her, merely giving some feedback based on my experience.  It's very unlikelythat this will influence anyone who objects to her on a broader level.
