@FuzzyDunlop This is my mates work in Failsworth. I really can't believe you did cop for this in town. Only lasted 20 mins but it is fair to say I have never seen anything like that before. If we cop for out like that @ Glasto then we will be in trouble.

My mate just sent it me via whattsapp. Thats his work, I just upped it to youtube to show Fuzzy. It just absolutely belted it down here, absolutely unbelievable.

Only benefit is that I will not have to water my mums plants. I got drenched running from Tesco to car though.

Did you cop for it Stu?

We don't get floods, we just get rain all the time rather than huge volumes of water in a short period.

I know it's early doors, but one thing we don't have is a blocking high over Greenland. This  would push North Atlantic lows further South over the top of us and, thankfully, it doesn't seem to be making an appearance.

Yup.  The weird front that held things up and pushed all that cold air down a couple of weeks ago took a bit of time to shift, but it's business as usual now with the high pressure being where we like it this time of year.  I know we are now due a few days of rain in the build up, but I'm still confident.

Well it's raining reasonably hard now, but nothing biblical.  My garden was sorted after last night's downpour though.

If I rains like that at Glasto then all my clothes are going in a bin bag and I am going commando till it stops. At least my skin is waterproof and will dry quicker than clobber.

Can Manchester get it own separate weather thread?

Manchester is easy to predict, it just rains.

Have you got any news for us in regards to Glastonbury weather? Preferably hot and sunny, so we can discuss that.

It's a cracking downpour in (North) Manchester, just abating. Errr, dry run for Glastonbury!?

Heading east and it's just average Manc rain at the moment, nothing-to-be -arsed-about-rain in other words.

Nevermind about London.  This is the Manchester thread.

As long as there is no rain at Glastonbury then that is all that matters.
