Like that new one, very atmospheric. I always think that RH are at their best when they get the balance of weirdness / different instrumenation / arrangements along with a sense of melody and repitition as well (In Rainbows)...

The last 3 tracks I've heard sound like the album will be very good. Was massively disappointed in KOL.

Without wanting to be a downer, I'm not wholly convinced by either song. I mean Radiohead are my favourite band and I'm so excited for the new album, but I felt like Burn The Witch was lacking something, and Daydreaming would be a filler track (as filler track as Radiohead tracks go - still good songs) on any of their better albums. Just re-listened to Spectre for the first time in ages and much prefer it to either track.

Still excited for the album, and the new songs are good (better than TKOL stuff), but I hope we aren't currently hearing the best of it.

Anyway, only two days until we find out!

Daydreaming is the weakest of the 3 for me. Burn the Witch is great.

Love both songs. I've got Burn The Witch on constant repeat.

Has anyone else noticed the creepy looking guy at the end of the Burn The Witch video in the trees to the left whilst everyone else is waving? You can see him at around 3:41. Weird.

Eurgh, wish I hadn't now. He's horrible.

With radiohead, whenever I hear rheir new stuff - it is always a "grower".

Burn the Witch was an instant - "GET IN!!"

Daydreaming is a grower..

Excited for the new album

Found it to be the other way around weirdly! Daydreaming is just gorgeous.

Arrrrrghhhh! An album! It's actually happening!!!!!!

Daydreaming is going to be the closer to the album I think. Like Motion Picture Soundtrack I think.

Beautiful harmony! Got a vibe similar to a previous written track, but can't place it yet.

just in case anyone  reading here wants to monitor the RH tickets pages (or any other pages) for changes ....

------------------------------------

wayhey, I've finally got my monitoring system sorted enough to let the public loose on it. :D

First things first: it's a paid-for service, because it sends you instant texts to your mobile (as well as emails), and the texts aren't free. So it costs £5 for one month membership (a non-recurring payment), where the membership includes 40 'credits' (one credit used each time you're alerted to a changed page by both text & email).  You can buy extra alert credits if needed at £1 for 10, tho 40 will probably cover most needs. Any profits made from it will be put towards the costs of sustaining efestivals.

In testing it's worked very well - faster than the other systems people are using (about a minute faster than the next-best). I can't guarantee it will remain as fast with more users on the system, but the text alerts should always be very very fast even if the email alerts slow down.

It's priced at around the same as some of the apps people are using, and does more than the email-only solutions. I can't guarantee this will be the first to alert you to a changed page, but I can guarantee it'll be the early birds who get the worms. The more systems you use the more chance one of them will work for you.

Feel free to check it out if you wish.

    • Alright fair, I thought she only did BST once. Though I do question how that type of pop show will translate to a stadium.
    • yeah, but I enjoy moaning about them too much so whatever I guess.   and besides... a few years from now there will be absolutely nothing on TV except for Coben based shows so I'd best get used to it...   🙂        (for anyone who has ever read a Coben book - are the books as utterly sh*t as the tv shows???)
    • Those in the Glastonbury ‘Tour’ thread buying tickets noticed it when tickets first went on sale.   And if you look at the blocks still on sale here https://www.axs.com/uk/events/1489025/muse-tickets?skin=theo2 blocks 410-414 definitely stand out as the only seating areas without tickets available, so appears that they still haven’t gone on sale.
