FFS I knew this would happen. As if we'd get and closure today :P

I guess if they do have RH a separate announcement would make more sense than just dropping them on the poster?

Not sure about that. If they were playing and held back it would probably be at the band's request for some reason.

Beck -> Disclosure -> Adele? Look how small BMTH are on the poster; LCD/New Order/Disclosure for Other headliners?

None of the Other headliners were middle column last year tho.

I think Disclosure could definitely be a Pyramid sub and leave the Other headliners as we were expecting. Would lean more towards Foals/Ellie/Beck though.

But JESUS CHRIST, PEOPLE. It was only our own speculation that led us to Radiohead subbing Adele and it doesn't by any means indicate that they're now not there.

I guess, but what reason would that be? RH rickets all sold out and they've announced every other festival.

They showed last year they like keeping big acts a mystery with the Libertines deal.

Perhaps. Could come with an album announcement I guess.

Gonna let you guys in on a hint.

Poster placements mean jack shit.

They actually don't. Look at the previous years, they tend to dothe pyramid subs with the legend slots first, then 3rd down pyramid mixed with other headliners. And then they tend to keep all the west holts headliners vaguely near each other. They do have a general pattern to them

    • Yeah I did spot that AXS had more available for the O2 shows Muse are doing, though I think that comes with the territory of AXS now being the venue's primary ticket selling platform.    My instinct remains they'll probably still play to a big crowd on the night - sales were similarly slow in 2023 but videos of those gigs showed the venue looking pretty much full. Equally it probably would be sold out if the pricing was even just slightly less ridiculous. Shave up to £50 off some of these categories and I think that would've got people to go with it.
    • Some are definitely already there with that and with another round of inflation looking like it's on the way, it certainly locks that in. And I say that as someone who also isn't willing to break the £100 marker.
    • A lot of people have said this online but does the Marvel world need new cities to play with? New York seems to be a target of all the villains to the point where you wonder why anyone in that world still lives there. Much as you can accuse me of overthinking it I guess haha.    I do agree that The Void is a compellingly different villain in many respects given the superpower is trapping people in their most traumatic memories. Shame in some respects the film came out in the post-Endgame funk Marvel seems stuck in and a lot of people missed out on it.    Speaking of, I rewatched Infinity War the other day. First time I think I've seen it since seeing it in the cinema on its opening day. Holds up pretty well imo - I have issues sometimes with ensemble casts and jumping between 4/5 storylines but it felt this one got the balance right and also properly explored Thanos. So it was good.
    • I didn't think I'd ever watched a Coben adaptation or read one of the original books, though turns out I did - I watched one called The Stranger back in 2020. Clearly didn't stick long in my memory as until researching it, I didn't know that was one of his. Queens Gambit or Black Mirror, it was not.    But clearly it's popular tripe in some respect if Netflix is going yes to everything he has to offer and are apparently about to start trying his most popular individual character, as seen below:   https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2026/jul/30/how-harlan-coben-became-the-king-of-potboiler-tv   Plus hey. Sometimes people get a kick from watching something and deriding it as crap. Don't let this internet rando stop you haha
