The fact that Major Lazer are headlining Lovebox and billed as a not-really-what-I'd-call-an-exclusive "London exclusive" puts them another step closer to one of those Bestival headline slots, I reckon.

Could definitely see that happening. They went down really well with the crowd in 2014, I'm not really sure how as I think they're terrible.

It'll be because of Glasto and T, I reckon. They've done late summer last two years and I think there will be some European Jack U shows later in summer this time.

Arcade Fire might be nice. Their whole carnival/show vibe would be a good fit for Bestival.

only doing two European festivals apparently which have both been announced, but next year once the album's out they'd be great for Bestival. i believe RDB has tried pretty hard for them in the past (weren't there rumours of them being lined up for 2013 but it falling through?)

I am convinced they are lying and its just the announcement for these.

I was equating 'Europe' from my English geographical perspective as opposed to their Canadian one - duh!

The Radiohead speculation hasn't gone beyond these boards has it? I fear that even a decent headline announcement could fall flat without Radiohead. Some crazy peeps out there.

Not sure Sigur Ros would want to play Bestival again given their reaction to the last time they played. Wilderness still seems most likely for them.
