Guardian have just posted. Cure and Major Lazer, Animal Collective, Hot Chip, Ride, Skepta, Craig David, Years and Years etc

Much stronger start than last year, I'm glad to see Rob has gone back to booking decent bands as well as kitsch & dance/hip hop. It's that overall mix that makes Bestival unique & it was certainly lacking last year.

They did that slot in 2011 I think, it wasn't too bad, just have to dive up the right hand side of the tent and nip in from there

Much as it was great Bestival never having repeat headliners until last year, I don't think too many people will be complaining about the Cure, Hot Chip and (last year) the Chemical Brothers.

I assume the final headliner will be more of a novelty act rather than somebody like Kendrick?

As long as Ride are on the same time as Major Lazer (makes most sense surely?), then Hot Chip, The Cure and Ride is good for me. Along with Ghostpoet, Animal Collective, Jagwar Ma, Mo and Wolf Alice, it's a good start.
