Sunday Legend 2016

O'Doyle Rules

Rod's alright. He'd go down great in the legends slot. Maybe not the size of Lionel or Dolly because of the fact he does play a bit, but most Glasto goers wouldn't have seen him previously. He's got a lot of big songs, probably a greater number of instantly recognisable than Lionel's and I'd be happy to go and see him. I don't know what the story was of him being not great at Glastonbury as a headliner previously, but I've read recent reviews that says he's on good form as well.

Could he be the 12.30pm Bazza before #RightBazza plays at 4.30?

Not sure #WrongBazza has the tunes to keep 90k moving for an hour? Or he could do the Bacherach slot?

Richie had Van Halen riffs and everything.

you'd be hard pressed to find many suitable 'legend' acts that have as many well known tunes as both Dolly and Lionel (right Bazza aside). definitely think Manilow has the material to do it. i'll probably be there, clashes aside (although i'm not nearly as eager as i was for Dolly and Lionel). he better play Looks Like We Made It

Looks like Manly Barrilow then? I note his "Last Ever Ever No Really It Is Tour" ends its UK leg on Thurs 23rd June at the O2 in that there London...

Ah well it will represent a chance to catch someone else, or perhaps a Goan Fish Curry for afternoon scoffs. Om nom nom.

My name is Debs and I am a Barry Manilow fan.  I was tricked into going to see him at the NEC when I was a teenager, and to my astonishment, he was brilliant and I have seen him whenever possible since then - he will be absolutely perfect for the Legends slot, and there are so many well known songs that it will be one of the best singsongs to date.  He's also a really, really nice guy and the crowd will love him..  As for any jokes about the size of his nose, he will be the first one to mention that.
