Just so you don't stress,I'll let you know that you have zero chance of any of these. None at all. It's Hobo Jones and the Junkyard Dogs on all stages, holograms, real, tributes, karaoke and mime from start to finish. Edited by Superscally

Some based on pure hope, a lot based on who has albums out soon/recently etc.

Joanna Newsom - Park headliner on Saturday, against some old tat on the Pyramid!

Beirut

C Duncan

Eels

Battles - Glade headliner? That'd be good. Maybe the Public Service Broadcasting slot (move Joanna to Friday!)

Mark McGuire

Nils Frahm - withor without Olafur Arnolds

Brakes

Rival Consoles - somewhere hot and sweaty, very late

The Leisure Society

John Grant - Park headliner

Diagrams

Ultimate Painting/Veronica Falls (ideally both!)

The Twilight Sad

Radare

52 Commercial Road

Oneohtrix Point Never

The Tallest Man On Earth

Dorian Concept - SO good on WH last year. Smaller venue in the dark, please!

Adult Jazz

Luke Abbott - late, late, late in Wow or somewhere in the SE Corner where I can't in!

First Aid Kit

Ben Folds

Blanck Mass

Other Lives - they deserve to play after their technical nightmare this year

Oh, and Radiohead and Sigur Rós, please :)

Hey, Ben's back!

I'm very optimistic about The Twilight Sad this year, maybe Joanna Newsom as well, but I'm going to see her in Manchester and then Bristol in four weeks just in case! Nils Frahm, who knows? We live in hope. One thing I will say about those last two artists, is that Glastonbury might struggle to create the sort of intimate atmosphere that I'd want from them. Seeing Nils Frahm at Latitude, he was in the middle of the woods, even outside of the tent it was all Nils, you could really believe the rest of the world was a million miles away and this is all there was. Glastonbury never stops, I don't know of a place you could go where you wouldn't still be aware how in the manic midst of it you are.

Yes, I was trying to think of where he could play and it still be the environment he deserves. Park as the sun sets would do it?

Presumably he played the Sunrise at Latitude? (I'm old school and refuse to relinquish the name for a corporate sponsor replacement!).

Can't wait to get 'Divers' on vinyl in two weeks. First two released tracks are fantastic. She's back.

He did indeed play the F.K.A. Sunrise stage. Sunday afternoon. That morning went James -> Atomic Bomb Band -> Nils Frahm, back to back to fucking back. What a day that was. Rest of the day didn't have much going on, but it was topped off by Lykke Li, a great time was had by all.

Still around, have done a few soundtracks in the recent past. They did the full score for Oblivion 2 years ago, which produced an extremely agreeable track with Susanne Sundfor, then they did somethingorother with Haim earlier this year which was crap. Couple of other songs here and there from no specific album as well I think.

We need a proper new album. And tour!

    • Debut album from Haiver (ex Frightened Rabbit's Billy Kennedy band) is an absolutely gorgeous thing. If you're a fan of FR then you'll probably like it. Definitely a contender for album of the year for me.
    • The tickets for the back at Muse, did go on sale. I know because I bought tickets there because they were the cheapest. All in with fee's, I got tickets at £81.20 each.   So likely, sold out quickly for those wanting the cheapest tickets. Either that or sold poorly and they took them off sale and when I turn up they offer me paper ticket upgrades because they closed the back.
    • She's headlining Reading and Leeds. Not to be sniffed at. She's also done her substantial arena tour since last time.    I think she's a decent bet to do it.
    • The best Punisher stuff from the Bernthal time is probably Daredevil. Although season 2 of Punisher is a great kinda study on what Castle can be.   But his first turn up in Daredevil was an absolute blast.    I thought Brand New Day did a decent job with him.
    • Basement only getting 30 mins right at the start of the day is a ballache, how annoying
