Well at least the rain helped with them digging the cables to the speaker stacks!

Is there a small corner of JP poking out from behind the trees?

Where?  I didn't go last year so I'm not familiar with the new home of JP.

Also, is there any sight of West Holts?  Think I might just be being blind

Don't know how to share pictures, but directly under the gate, as we look. (It looks less like JP than it did this morning, but I think that's the new place for it.)

The camera doesn't go round that far. It's there though!

I think it's to the left of the really long tent (with vertical stripes)  - I assume that tent is the bar in WH field?  Stage is hidden in the trees leftwards if that's right.

If so, is that the Avalon pube being built behind the long bar?

What is that structure in the wooded area, back of pyramid field just above the junction to the village inn/cider bus.  looks quite tall, tempted to say it looks like a stage but I know it can't be!!!

That's the Village Inn bar - always been there I think?

I imagine the Avalon Pube as approx 2 inches in length, silver at first glance but upon closer inspection shows a ginger past. Couldn't be described as straight but certainly not curled. Probably fell naturally from the scrotum of an elderly bloke, eventually becoming entangled in the texture of a dark green walking sock. Finally came to rest in a clump of dried mud, brushed off said sock by aforementioned elderly bloke whilst trying to enjoy a pint of real ale that didn't taste like he imagined it would outside the Avalon Inn.

Not sure that it is - the Village Inn is usually tucked in behind the tree line right behind the urinals at the back of the pyramid field. The structure I was referring to looks like it is on Butts lane which is normally food/market stalls .  Roughly beyond the bottom left hand corner of the picture above.  Of course it could be perspective (and age!!) playing tricks.

    • I agree that we’ll never really know up until the concert happens (and even then we still may not know) but I think promoters are having to come up with new tactics to combat ‘blue dot fever’ (already hating that phrase!) and trying to imply that concerts are selling better than they actually are / available tickets are in short supply is definitely one of them.    To add though, it is quite common at the O2 Arena for the rear blocks to not go on sale (and then remain closed for the concert and covered over to hide the empty seats). And equally common for standing to sell out first, then side/lower tier seating next and rear/upper tier seating last.    Jungle’s two concerts at the O2 are a good comparison for this - for their 1st (announced) date, all blocks are on sale and seats in all sections remain unsold, whereas for their 2nd date, the rear blocks are greyed out (more so than for Muse) and equally lots of seats remain unsold in the blue blocks. Standing for both concerts are showing as sold out.
    • MGK can and should headline. I was at one of his shows earlier in the year as a very casual fan, and there were a lot of alt people there. The show was actually class and he completely won me over. Anyone who opposes him headlining is just a gatekeeper imo, we need to move with the times.
    • Ultimately Glasto is just part of the festival circuit, however special we may think it is. The vast majority of its headliners have done many others
    • From Magyar’s FB:   ”Our country's energy and water supply is stable. As of today, voluntary consumption reduction is no longer necessary. The turbine at the Paks power plant is generating stably. Thanks to precipitation in Austria, the water level of the Danube will temporarily rise by 20–30 centimeters. Thank you, Hungary, for the unprecedented national unity shown in recent days! We have much to be proud of, and much to carry forward into the period ahead.”
    • I hope it stays under £400.  A lot of us aren't flush with cash.  Charities are great but do they need £1 mil (I jest)
