There seems to be a new platform at the top of the Park viewing area. Can't recall it being there in previous years....or is it my advancing years and a dodgy memory? I have circled said mystery object

edit: picture size is not what I intended. Think there's enough to... er...get the picture

Yeah I saw that too, thought it might be the start of a security tower but then no others have been started (that i can see).

More interested in what is being laid out on the floor of the Pyramid fields - a number of black lines in patterns - any ideas?

Let's have this week's weather in 3 weeks time. I bet wherever you are it's a cracking June morning. Glastocam is a beautiful sight this morning.

Lovely day down on the farm, hopefully waking up to that weather in 3 weeks time.

Can't wait for them to start putting the tents up and add a bit of colour to the picture.

Just the shear amount of traffic going into and out of the farm this last week means they are moving up a gear with the build. So far this week I have seen/followed through the village:

2 x lorries containing Arcadia

3 x lorries with portacabins

5 x lorries of harris fencing

3 x lorries of generators

I saw a lorry load of generators coming down the A303 on Tuesday and assumed they were off to the festival. Also seen lorry loads of portaloos but thinking it's a bit early for them yet.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
