So when EE said we will get another headliner in the next two weeks does that mean it could be anytime in the next two weeks or does it mean two weeks being 2nd March?

the general guess is that it'll come at the Brit Awards.

Which suggests it's going to be Adele who's announced then.

Stevie Wonder and U2 (if Bono didn't break his back) so they were competing with bigger than Adele and RH.

This.

Also, I think, other than the Sunday closing-the-festival-slot, who headlines Friday vs. Saturday has more to do with other schedules/scheduling conflicts than it dose prestige.

If you want another example, U2 for their original 2010 booking. They first toured No Line on the Horizon in Summer 2009.

As I said, it doesn't hold truer or heritage acts. Obviously some don't believe it's a thing but I very much do and think Muse are an anomaly to it, but they're a very popular act so it's not hard to see why they've been booked anyway

How are muse bigger then radiohead, Radiohead would headline American festivasl whilst muse would not even sub.

Radiohead are more exclusive with the fact that there not tour that often.

Radiohead are bigger but to say Muse would not even sub an American festival is rubbish....they headlined Outside Lands in 2011 and headlined Coachella in 2014 for the 2nd time.

Your perception of how big an artist is is how big they are on American festivals? Muse have headlined Coachella twice and a bunch of other festivals there so I don't get how you arrived at that. They're bigger because they sell more albums and tickets and whatever measurement you wish to use, really.

That's why Radiohead are lined up, much as the Eavii want her they know she's going to bottle it

Think it's unfair to say she would bottle it. Apparently she suffers from anxiety and I experience here to say it is a right nasty illness. Everyone gets butterflies from time to time but real anxiety can take over your life.

The woman has a lot of courage to do what she does.

At what point do Muse become a heritage act, then? They've been going 20 years. People probably give as much of a damn about their new album as U2's.

They headlined the Saturday in 2010...

Saying that didn't someone say Muse wanted to be the first band to headline each day or something?

that was me yes, they would become the first band to headline each day if/when they headline the Friday

when they go back in time and stop releasing anything after Absolution then come back after 20 years and cash in those first 3 good albums
