Unless a leg break results in Roses stepping in and then I'm all for it (not that I would wish any pain upon anybody of course!! I understand this wont happen but one can dream)

Roses doing a warm up for their gigs in Stoke and Newcastle if that's any good for you?

well, that fucked up another of gazza's theories.

Fucked up what theory?

The theory I thought it was crazy Muse would be doing anything other than headlining themselves? You want to look at where you're getting dodgy Muse to sub info from HAHA ;P

Unbelievable. In the pub after work, and my colleague said 'stand by your beds' out of nowhere. Seconds later I checked Facebook, and Muse had just self confirmed!

Mixed feelings. Im a Muse fan, but Radiohead are number 1 on my wishlist. Then again, Emily did say '3 brilliant british bands'...

    • Surely nowadays with so much data analytics available on every division in world football and so much awareness that people aren't suckered in on the basis of a decent World Cup game... right?   Although tbf, from what I saw, Australia's game plan worked very well. But that was as much thanks to Turkey blowing varying opportunities given they created enough chances but couldn't finish, a la what happened with Switzerland against Qatar when they really could and should've won by 3/4 goals.
    • I missed Viagra Boys for a good spot for Gorillaz. Was a nice weekend and festival for me. Would definitely come back, if the line up is right. Get back home safe everyone.
    • The Last Temptation - new Heaven 17 documentary film directed by James Strong. Premiered at Sheffield Docfest this weekend.    I really enjoyed it. Affectionate, insightful, and honest. A nice mix of archival and footage, interviews and clips from the last tour. Martyn and Glenn are like an old married couple.   Plus a snippet of news from the Q&A, Martyn is recording new BEF material, and Phil Oakey has collaborated on the one of tracks. The film shows them meeting in Fagans for the first time in over 35 years.
    • Glad I’ve still got it booked off for my 50th
    • That would be perfect!
