The shape in both of them is something mathematical if I remember correctly, its not like BMTH have IP over it

even then the designs aren't the same

That's a horrible choice! But at a push I'd ditch portishead I reckon...

And you??

I would never, ever drop Portishead for any live performance. Pure emotional intensity oozing from every pore of my being. Have to say it would be the lips for me, seen them a few times, their earlier performances are much better. Cohen is a legend and will always be a legend, can't ever argue with that. And as for Cave, I would never miss such a fuel charged and energetic performer, he always blows my mind leaving me exhausated with such intense performances!

I know I would appear to be excited, but I'm not, it's the fucking metro, how reliable can the fucking metro be? Bloody hell, I hope they've nailed this one, because that screams no Adele to me, which means only one thing

Muse, Radiohead, Coldplay looking more likely now then - love it when the Eavii start letting things slip when they are on a big night out!

And it's shaping up nicely for a sunday night showdown between Coldplay and BMTH.

True. If she never said the words 'bands' then she could still be in the running. I just want any kind of indication towards Radiohead really

I have more faith in Neils info of Muse, Adele, Coldplay but I think most of us on this forum, and Neil himself hopes his info is wrong.

3 british bands though, this could go with Biffys 'Handful of festivals'. But again would maybe mean Neils info about R+L is wrong. ll All hoping for Radiohead I think

Foals? Stone Roses? any other potentials?

Foals aren't gonna headline both R/L and Glastonbury (although i wouldn't count them out of making an appearance). Stone Roses maybe but I just don't see it... can't really remember why they're not seen as a more likely option, mind?

All I can now see is a major clash with New Order on Saturday night. This was the only reason I was hoping for Adele.

    • Yep - should have been the Stones.
    • Yeah I do agree on the 2 hour thing. But if they were subbed by Biffy/WA only doing 75 mins or so would be doable.   Only reason I suggested them was because we know they're back doing shows here next year.
    • Its probably the culmination of issues that have been simmering under the surface for a while. Spain ran a regularisation program recently that allows undocumented individuals to obtain temporary legal status and then a route to EU citizenship. 1.2 million applied. At the same time Montenegro is having to close its citizenship via investment program as part of EU ascension talks.    Countries are obviously asking, why are we having to reject investors whilst others can wave anyone in?
    • I'm not sure, they aren't giving any headliner in that format 2hours and Foos would have at least 2. I wouldn't say Reading is likely for them next year either. If they are as said going big on a tour with stadiums and festivals then the UK is once place they can definitely do stadiums and that would rule them out. And that's even if they come back for a second UK stint as I fully expect them in Europe from very early. That could be seen as hyperthetical but there are is some places I cannot see them not doing from history.
