I can help if you need it, I have tickets already but went through the secret resale ordeal last year (got tickets in it) and have been keeping an eye on it this year. I work from home and will be around between 1pm-4pm if you want to PM me :)

Morning all! Last hurdle, here we go! (Hopefully).

I was wondering this morning, how may tickets we think would be needed for everyone here to be happy after all this stress? Acknowledge a lot of guests are keeping an eye on this thread but then also a lot of people are here for moral support too.

Getting very tense about all this now! Fingers crossed everyone.

No meetings - check

      I don’t think the festival automatically ‘need’ to have a female headliner if you have strong female headliners on the Other Stage (which I reckon will be Rosalia and Phoebe Bridgers), perhaps a female legend (praying for Annie, will take Cher), and a few female/mix gendered subs on the Pyramid (maybe London Grammar, The xx). From what I’ve seen of Sabrina, her team prioritises the pay day and I think she will be doing Wembley over Glasto weekend.   One thing I’ve noticed is a lot of the suggestions would be first time headliners and I can’t work out when the last time was that the festival had three artists top the bill that hadn’t topped it before? It seems to be something they like to do to make sure they have a ‘safe’ headliner that will land well with the masses. Plenty of names in that hat that could step back up next summer and should/could be about: Billie Eilish, Adele, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Radiohead, U2…hell, if Beyoncé is really planning to release a ‘rock n roll’ album to complete her Renaissance trilogy, Glastonbury would be a great place to ‘kick off’ that campaign for her.   And there’s always the Rihanna rumour. Her husband (I think) said this week she’s in the studio.
